It was not so long ago that the state was flush with money and the GRIP projects were dominating the landscape. What a difference from even a couple of years ago.

The situation that faces us today was not born yesterday, it has its roots in actions from more than a year ago, so don't be so quick to blame Obama.

Having worked for the State of New Mexico for 6 years and witnessing firsthand the wanton waste and incompetence in the majority of its work force, this comes as no surprise. Obscenely gorging from taxpayers, the analogy to blood-sucking leeches and ticks is entirely and utterly appropriate.

Let the ax fall where it may. It can do no real harm, and who knows, it may even do some good.

Each time I visit my slice of Heavan in Cloudcroft I am continually amazed that NM Democrats are failing to elect quality candidates that have been a tradition in NM for generations. I live in a Calif. where Democrats abandoned the Partys values and Democrats have NO STANDARDS whatsoever. Can't NM Dems Google Calif. and see that they are on a course which will destroy NM childrens future hopes and dreams? Bill R is a showboat, a party hack, and has NO true connection to the wonderful multi cultural population in NM. Being more like Calif. Democrats will decimate your schools, your finances, and make RACE more important than citizenship.
Be very afraid of Embracing the Disgrace of far left progressive lunacy. NM is too wonderful to choose a crippled, violent, dysfunctional, Calif. style future.

Both parties have moved farther to the left over the past few decades. The Republican party platform is more like the Democratic Platform of the 70's. Today's Democratic Party has moved far too much to the left and includes the liberal progressive. Recent polls show that 20% of the country is liberal, 40% conservative, 40% somewhere in between. The liberal progressive has gained too much power out of the Democratic party which is pushing others out. Yes, you liberal progressive's in California are hurting a once great state.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aries

It's one of those days when you'd be wise to mind your Ps and Qs if you want to avoid putting both feet in it or feeling like a fool. The trouble is that you're finding it hard to think before you speak, and you're rushing into situations without thinking about the possible consequences. All you can do is to apologize and try your hardest not to let it happen again.
