I have an easier time being around most pot smokers than being around drunks, but I much prefer being around people who are completely sober. Dbp, however, is the obnoxious, condescending, narcissistic, know-it-all pothead who needs to tear everyone else down in order to compensate for the inadequacies that he perceives in himself.

Whine on Lobo -- However, I could give a $hit how "safe" you feel: Keep feeling "safe" while the Nation collapses into a Police State around you. Also, you don't like pot -- don't smoke it -- none of your business who else does.
Obviously you are too stoned to recognize sarcasim. The only thing that is collapsing around you is your intellect and common sense. Why don't you tell us how you are going to bring about social change while you hide up in the mountains and get stoned? Or have you just retreated into that position because you are too much of a coward to do anything else?

If you want to be stoned all the time, be my guest. Just don't shake your resin-stained finger at the rest of us for not buying into your paranoia.

Wow, you must be carrying some pretty heavy baggage to be such a mean and nasty old man. Is it guilt because you worked at Los Alamos, and now you have to be more politically correct than the rest of us?

But, I am still waiting for you to answer my question. How you are going to bring about social change while you cower up in the mountains and get stoned all the time?

1st - I've never "cowered" to anyone, and I never will.
2nd - I've been getting "stoned" for 45 years -- Had two very fine Professional Jobs in that time and spent 27 years at them. Never bothered me one bit, did my job and got along just fine. I certainly didn't smoke on work time, but regularly otherwise. As for "social change", I don't believe it will come about without turmoil much greater than we have now. I do my bit when I choose and where I choose.

I remember when the 1967 courthouse raid in Tierra Amarilla took place. Tensions were high before the raid happened and the "attempted citizens arrest" was just a phony excuse to carry out the raid. Tijerina was hell bent on carrying this raid out, he even forced his teenage children to drive the pickup truck full of his men sitting in the back knowing they were probably going to be subjected to gunfire. There were other avenues that could have been taken, instead they chose to act like renegades to draw attention to their cause.

That's the mentality that comes along with smoking mota. It illustrates just how disconnected you are with society as you huddle in your little smoke filled shell of self pity and cowardice.
You strike me as an intelligent individual, in those posting moments when mote is not invading your senses.
I agree with the myob philosophy when it comes to marijuana use. Who cares if someone smokes pot? I'd much better have a pot-smoking neighbor than a beer-swilling neighbor. JMO

I doubt that his behavior has anything to do with his choice of drug:-)

I don't until it affects the kids, which then affects their parents, relatives and friends. If nobody else would be hurt, physically or mentally I could easily turn my back. Sadly there are other victims of drug use that usually go unnoticed. Same with alcohol.

Even in a shooting "revoution" Tijerina was not the Fidel Castro of Rio Arriba County. And he sure as hell was not the Martin Luther King for Chicanos. But I will track down and read the book that Faith recommneded, and see if that changes my opinion of him.

So you were a functioning pothead like Gary Johnson, good for you. The narcs are developing remote sensing technology to detect marijuana plantations, so I hope you get to harvest yours before they harvest it for you. Or maybe they will be waiting for you when you go to harvest. Naw don't think about that, it'll just make you more paranoid than you already are.

I find it curious that you have the same basic belief that some in the extreme right have about future turmoil, or even a civil war.
