This event is a fine tribute to the volunteers in Santa Cruz County. Kudos to all.

The HELL with thanks giving, it's only for people who have, because I don't. Death is the only thing coming for me anyways.

I'm so proud of the folks who pulled this together. Great job! At times like this I really, really love being a part of this community, even more than usual.

The food was delicious, the volunteers many, and the feeling afterward was peaceable and sociable. I especially enjoyed the white, cloth table cloths. Surprisingly elegant. And the pies were fabulous! On the downside, there was no salt or pepper, butter for the dinner rolls, or COFFEE!! Thanks to Steven Pleich, Friends of Thanksgiving, and Pastor Dennis Adams for their hard work in organizing this annual Thanksgiving dinner.

its just a plain fact that for many unfortunate souls this particular meal and event is a very very much appreciated deal. its also a plain fact to other less deserving freeloaders this is just another handout. I prefer to focus on the former :):):):):)

So BJ.... you couldn't just say thank you and leave it at that? You attend and partake in a free dinner and then have the brass to comment on Topix about lack of salt, pepper, etc. You're uncouth, ill-mannered, rude, discourteous, and ungracious.
