Judged: 22 19 10 What has a mosque to do with terrorists?? they usually blow mosques up. I dont really understand what you are trying to say because terrorist work against islam. Why would they bomb a muslim university in pakistan? Why would they bomb mosques in the middle of the friday prayers(when most muslims gather there)? To give themselves a bad name on international basis, whats the purpose? I think that muslims dont need to suffer for things done in name of islam just as much as christians dont suffer from the blood that went in name of christianity in europe back then. Most americans judge more than one billion people around the globe for what one man and his terrorist organization did. How would the world look like if everyone hated christians/germans because of what happene in 1938+? I have seen many muslims in my life, some drink alcohol some eat pork some women wear the hijab and some dont..you know just as much about a muslim as a "christian"... In the middle east/africa/asia there are far more muslim victims than 3000 that die because of terrorist, why would you blame someone for their enemys fault... |

Judged: 6 4 2 Yes,what was their intention in a mosque ??To pray? Nah,wouldnt say that...Most likely to kill more people. And again "Three of the September 11 hijackers including their ringleader Mohammed Atta, who piloted the first plane into New York's World Trade Center, met regularly at the mosque before moving to the United States" The same people from 9/11. Why blame more than a billion people that suffer just as much as everyone else from al-Qaida murders and bombings? Here is a case where they bombed a mosque in Florida that is just one of many hundreds they bombed http://muslimmatters.org/2010/05/18/terror-do... |

Judged: 20 19 18 I do believe in the First Amendment and I don't believe in God, but I will say that you have every right to practice your religion just as Muslims have every right to practice theirs. They are building on private property two blocks away from ground zero, New York has some long blocks! What size buffer zone would satisfy you people? Please be good Christians/Muslims/Hindus/Jews /Buddhists/Humanists etc. and try to be good neighbors instead of being nutjobs. |

Judged: 9 9 6 He also admitted that "[In the West] they have separation of church and state, this of course does not exist in any Muslim country. About 99% refuse to separate religion from state and many call for establishing an Islamic Caliphate." And regarding religious dialogue Abdul-Rauf stated "this phrase is inaccurate. Religious dialogue as customary understood is a set of events with discussions in large hotels that result in nothing. Religions do not dialogue and dialogue is not present in the attitudes of the followers regardless of being Muslim or Christian. The image of Muslims in the West is complex which needs to be remedied." And when his view regarding an Islamic state he responded that "throughout my discussions with contemporary Muslim theologians that an Islamic state can be established in more then just in a single form or mold. It can be established through a kingdom or a democracy. The important issue is to establish the general fundamentals of Shariah that are required to govern. It is known that there are sets of standards that are accepted by [Muslim] scholars to organize the relationships between government and the governed." When questioned on this, that "the current governments are unjust and do not follow Islamic laws" Abdul Rauf commented "new laws were permitted after the death of Muhammad, so long of course that these laws do not contradict the Quran or the Deeds of Muhammad…so they create institutions that assure no conflicts with Shariah." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cordoba_House A number of commentators said that the builders planned various construction milestones, such as groundbreaking and the start of construction, to coincide with anniversaries of the September 11 attacks http://www.torontosun.com/comment/columnists/... Incredibly, ground-breaking for the Ground Zero mosque is scheduled for Sept. 11 — the anniversary of 9/11. Does it take much imagination to figure out how al-Jazeera and the militant Muslim world will greet that occurrence? http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/... Judged: 12 7 5 Cherry you need to seek the truth about these savages, and they are all savages. Honor killing their own children, beheading their own wives, stoning their own people. It has been exposed by former Muslims who have converted away from Islam and will tell you first hand that these Muslims are taught from birth to kill, behead, stone in the name of Allah. 9-11, BlackHawk Down, Pam Am Jet explosion over Lockerbie, Scotland, beheading journalist Daniel Pearl broadcasted live on Utube; just to name a few all in the name of Allah and Islam. Just keep the blinders on and they will be at your front door to get you, and I am sure you will scream the loudest. Former Muslims who are now X-Muslims have exposed this evil vile fraud group of savages calling themselves a religion. Their women are oppressed or part of the agenda. Wake up for die blind!!!!!! |

Judged: 2 2 1 "The same people from 9/11. Why blame more than a billion people that suffer just as much as everyone else from al-Qaida murders and bombings?" Because the ones that didn't dance in the street on 9/11 are silent about it. No different then whites who turned a deaf ear to the slaves, nor the Germans to the Holocaust. |

Judged: 5 3 3 I believe in the 1st Amendment too, that's why I've stuggled a little with this issue. I would say they shouldn't build a new mosque or Islam headquarters of any kind in lower Manhatten. I don't know where that line is, but a New Yorker could tell you. While it really isn't against the law to build a mosque within a block of ground zero, it is insensitive and not a good PR move for the muslims. Obama really stepped in this time, even if he is correct in his statements about how tolerent Americans are and how diverse we are, he's going to discover that in this situation, people are not tolerent and I don't believe the public is going to let this go. That is unless, he keeps his mouth shut and doesn't bring it up and try to defend this mosque again. He got some bad advice, he should have stayed out of it. |

Judged: 7 2 1 No, the muslims know that the building would cause trouble and yet they chose to cause it by being insensitive to the americans. |
