Community Cleans Up Pogonip

Full story: Patch.com

Around five dozen members of Take Back Santa Cruz, the Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Club, the Friends of Pogonip, and other community members met Sunday morning at the Club House at Pogonip armed with gloves, garbage bags, wheelbarrows, McLeods, and bow rakes, and set off into the thickets to perform an all day clean-up effort along the eastern ... But FAT BJ has repeatedly claimed that "There are no piles of trash in the Pogonip".

Sure thing screwball.

Did Robert or BJ lift a flabby finger to help?

Of course not.

Just another in her long list of statements that were proven to be wrong. She wouldn't recognize the "elusive truth" if it jumped up and bit her on her jumbo-sized blubberbutt!

FAT BJ and Robert the rectal polyp are bellowing on Indycrap about downtown dog tickets, meanwhile the City of Watsonville is driving bulldozers through the homeless' campsites along the levee.

Don't you just love where HUFF has their priorities?

It is great when the community gets together to clean-up! I wish that they would clean-up streets of trash and butts. It is so sad to see all the litter on the roads and hiways.

GILLIAN GREENSITE WHO ATTENDED THE CLEAN-UP WRITES: "I was part of the clean-up on Sunday. While I appreciate the reporter's coverage of our work, it is simply not true to state that there were "piles of trash of the Pogonip forest." What was surprising was how little trash there was! We had to forage under old tree stumps to find any items and unless folks want to make up stories, all would agree that what we found and removed was very old and already decaying. If you were just hiking through, the main impression was of a pristine forest."

BECKY: The clean-up by 45 - 50 volunteers cleaned up 12 to 15 yards of trash including a dump pile from behind the clubhouse that was there from the days when it was still in use.

I am totally vindicated. there were no "mountains of trash" and the clean-up did not reveal extensive damage from homeless campers nor from "druggies."

How are you vindicated? This clean-up occurred a couple weeks ago, but that doesn't mean that you're vindicated. You assume that no other clean-up efforts have taken place in the last few ears.

It is well known that BJ, for years, cherry picks her facts from whatever obscure source she can find. And when she can't even find those, she makes them up and presents them as facts, hoping she won't get found out. She thinks she's so much smarter than anyone else and can lie, spin and distort with impunity. Unfortunately she's not and is frequently refuted. If she was half as smart as she thinks she is, she would try a different tack. What is that pesky term for a person who does the same thing over and over while expecting a different result?

He said they filled 12-15 yards of a 20 yard dumpster. And probably at least 5 feet wide. That's a lot of trash. Definitly a pile of trash. You make it sound like they only cleaned 12-15 yards of path.

You're twisting information again, BECKY.

Hey lardass, did you see the photos of the huge number of discarded syringes?

Or has the almighty HUFF declared that some rogue Diabetics left them there. On "Heroin Hill".

DONE AND DONE WRITES: "How are you vindicated? This clean-up occurred a couple weeks ago, but that doesn't mean that you're vindicated. You assume that no other clean-up efforts have taken place in the last few ears."

BECKY: I said that claims of "mountains of trash" in our forests and open spaces has been greatly exaggerated. My own experience hiking in the Pogonip, DeLaveaga, Moore Creek, and Sycamore Grove showed that trash is not a big problem from homeless people, from "druggies" or even from the general public. this "clean-up" produced very little trash---about 1 bag per person for the 4 to 6 hours they were there.

Have there been other clean-ups? Sure. But no one has EVER proved that there are/were "mountains of trash" in our parks and open spaces.

Can't you concede a point?

DBS WRITES: ""There were piles of trash if you knew where to look" Source; Mark Davidson."

BECKY: And since he was one of the organizers of the clean-up, he "knew where to look." Yet they found very little trash. 12 to 15 yards isn't that much for 50 volunteers who "knew where to look."

are you disappointed there wasn't more trash?

Sounds like it.

Now the lying lardass has shifted her claim from no "piles" of trash to no "mountains" of trash.

Face the facts you fat fool.

you got proven wrong.

Again.

But in your delusional-dope-world you won't connect-the-dots.

BECKY: WRONG AGAIN, CRAIG. It was Mark Davidson who said 12 - 15 yards when he should have said "cubic yards". You say it's "a lot of trash" but it comes out to ONE BAG of trash per person for 4 to 6 hours of hunting. THat is NOT "mountains of trash" even if you piled it all together. Yes, it's a PILE of trash, but hardly "proves" that homeless people are trashing the Pogonip. tHey didn't even fill ONE DUMPSTER. And what am I "twisting?" I've made nothing but straightforward factual reporting from the comment section of Patch.com

And how did you get the impression that I said only 12 to 15 yards of trail had been cleaned? Reading challenged?

This is the whackjob that demanded the FBI be called in to investigate a piece of fruit in the tailpipe of her crummy old Ford.

But 15 cubic yards of trash is insignificant.

But did the town crackpot lift a flabby finger to help with anything?

Of course not. That would be too much like exercise.

She only makes screwball demands on the people who actually make an effort.

Sycamore Grove's been closed for years. The cops will, for good reason, stop you just for walking out of there towards your vehicle parked on the shoulder of 9 because of all the drug activity there. I smell BS...or does the law not apply to certain "activists?"

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
