Triad goal is peace with Vallejo

I didn't realize it cost so much money to put up a sign with a pretty picture. Oh, wait - they had to hire a guy to paint that picture! And of course, people to put up the sign...

Blah, blah, blah blah, blah. The city is still bleeding and now back to court with someone else. Maybe Pearsal can work something else out as he's already slept with Triad once. The city needs to start finishing what it started especially if there is a contract. Oh wait, they haven't honored those in a long time.

Hmmmm, looks like a council in 2005 agreed to a contract with Triad that included a safety net for them.

"Amid a terminated agreement and threat of litigation, the head of Triad Communities said Thursday he hopes the city can roll out the welcome mat again for his firm's downtown development plans." teh city should build a brick wall with a very strong gate and a sign that says "triad, kiss off, your not welcome!"

Let Triad bulldoze Vallejo and start a new.

Triad says they spent 10 million on this project--- lets see, 9 million from the general fund, plus another 3 million for the theatre, also from the general fund, what of their own money has Triad spent? Oh, by the way, when are they going to pay back the supposed "loans" from the general fund????

i saw a bit in the news about the alameda city council voted to end their relationship with the master developer over there at the former military air field. the developer is going to sue of course, and they are smaller than lennar. lennar will hang us out to dry with the lawyers they have. we are stuck with them forever i guess.

Of course lets take this developer to court and give them a hard time for developing our run down city. In the mean time the pot businesses are popping up left and right and don't seem to have any trouble with setting up business here in Vallejo.

This (sh)it really pisses me off and shows how low life The people making decisions about Vallejo really are and want to keep Vallejo an embarassment.

Oh by the way, LOVE how the crack doors on the businesses and homes are the staple of design. I guess the planning department approves this all also to go along with the criminal look they are trying to pull off.

So are you going to hold all Council that voted for Triad accountable? I seem to remember that the unions all signed on to these developments, so are they also accountable? How about the voters that voted for the Council and Mayor? Are they also accountable? Let's spread the wealth of accountability to all people connected. This has nothing to do with anyone getting married, divorced, single status or other personal issues. So stick to the topic at hand.

These guys are unbelievable. They tie up a prime piece of real estate until it is no longer viable. Stall and try to keep the property tied up, and then when the city boots them for non performance, they sue in the name of "peace". Greedy bastards...

Hey ethical please don't mention Ethics and Tony Pearsal in the same verbage. They don't go together. The wedding of the sluggos is this Saturday and everyone is invited to the Loma Vista swaray. I just don't get why people can give both of them a free pass and not hold them accountable. Closed eyes is bringing this city further into oblivion. the only press we get is the bad press. Hell even the coaches on our baseball teams get National attention. Changes need to be made NOW!

#2- State or Federal investigation of our council members.
#3- More citizen involvement
#4- Hold students more accountable at the schools

Why are you talking trash about Callahan DeSilva - you're talking about their Waterfront trashy condos, aren't you? ;) Watch those fools will be back when it serves them and their lacky Davis will give away our waterfront at 1940's prices.

The dysfunction you see involves a lot more than Triad - the deals were made way back and, mark my word, we taxpayers will pay for Davis' incompetence yet one more time. This city never wanted Triad in the picture from the beginning - I hope they sue and WIN.
