More than 1,500 lightning strikes ignite 81 fires

Now and through the winter is a good time to be burning the heavy fuels that fire fighters have been waisting so many of our tax dollars trying to put out. In order to preserve fuel for their benefit, of having more horrific future fires that they can take credit trying to suppress. Getting more and more funding. Job security you know. So many of their "controlled" burns and training exercises get out of "control" during fire season, it seem like they should someday soon get the idea. I can not say enough about how the fire fighters do more harm than good to our environment, our economy and dignity as humans.

Once again, talking out of your behind. It is STILL fire season you jerk, so now would not be the time to do "prescribed burns." Also...do you you know who orders the prescribed burns during fire season? For the most part, it is the Forest Service and NOT CAL FIRE. And, talk to any fire fighter that deals with mostly wildland fires. They would LOVE it if there were responsible forest thining to help eleviate the devestating fires we experience...oh you didn't know that? That's right, that would mean you would actually have to educate yourself on the subject and do a little responsible research. Environmentalists are the ones to blame for that. And please explain to us genius, how do firefighters do more harm than good when they are fighting a natural, lightning caused fire?

Your absolutely right Fire Safe. Ask Stephens how he feels about Doctors, teachers and anyone else who manages to be relatively successful. His views are quite fascinating actually, lol.
So many people don't get that environmentalists are the one's that are responsible for keeping the heavy fuel load intact in the Forests.
