This is what is wrong with all you bible toting "christians" you look way too much into something that has no bearing on your own life. So she wrote a song about kissing a girl. If you actually listened to the song the next line ststes that she has a boyfriend so obviously she is in a hetrosexual relationship. But of course you are going to hear what you want to hear and get your panties in a bundle. And if you actually read your bible you would know that it states not to judge other people--thats God's job!! So if you dont want to hear anything that is dealing with homosexually, stay off the F*****G radio because it aint going to get any better.

By the way I live the song because "I kissed a girl and I liked it... the taste of her cherry chapstick" haha!!!!

Two females kissing doesn't always constitute they are lesbians.There are different kinds,and intensity of the kiss.Daughters of preachers needs to make money too,good marketing i say!!

Jesus told the prostitute to go and sin no more. The same applies to homosexuals. The New Testament is very clear on this (1 Cor 6:9, 1 Tim 1:10). Just because Jesus would show love and compassion to a homosexual does not mean that he would accept the behavior. A God that fits in a box that any of us might design is not a God worth following.

If you listen to the song it's more suggesting she kissed a girl either for attention our out of boredom and/or drunken curiosity. Sounds like a quick way to stir up controversy and get media attention to me, and she did.

I just think it's funny when Christians bring up the old testement as needed but tend to ignore the rest. Kissing girls, bad! Shellfish and pork, good.

Kissing a girl is not a sin and neither is writing a song about it. If you were a 'true' Christian, you would live your life as Christ did. With JOY, love, compassion, and tolerance.

I KNOW! Katy has NEVER said she is a lesbian. The words of her song are pretty clear, just like you said.

If kissing a girl makes you a lesbian, then I think 90% of girls must be gay. I learned to kiss with a girl but found that I enjoyed kissing boys 100 times more. I'm married with two kids and never have the urge to be with a woman.

Judging seems to be what Christians do best.

You can't ask a Xtian fundaMENTALIST to "listen to the song".

Once they hear 'lesbian or homosexual' their eyes close, their mouths shut and their fingers are inserted into their ears. Instead of being filled with compassion, like Christ, they are filled with condemnation because they are sinners.

No better, no worse than anyone else.

ALTHOUGH, I am VERY dissappointed in every single Christian that is saying that Katy Perry is going to hell. The simple facts of the matter are yes God loves everyone and he will forgive all repentent sinners but you cannot excuse living in sin by the overused, out of context "god loves everybody" Homosexuality is sin it is no worse than a lie or a murder homosexuals are not any worse than anyone else but an unrepentant sinner cannot be saved the bible says without repentance there is no remission of sins one cannot be a "christian homosexual" any more than one can be a serial rapist or murder and call themselves a christian and by that i mean the actual meaning of a christian as a follower of christ one can be saved and fall into sin but just as a man and woman living together and not being married would constitute the sin of fornication the same is true for a same sex couple who may have every intention of being "married" but are still sinning none the less please dont take this wrong if you are "gay" I do not hate or spite you many who use the bible or the pulpit of a church for hatemongering and they are wrong for doing so God dose not hate homosexuals he hates sin in all forme he hate a lie but loves a lier he hates fornication but loves a fornicator if you have trouble beliving this just read thr bible for yourself its in there read the first chapter of romans it all there.
