In revolutionary Council controlled Long Beach, the answer is no. In fact, asking such a question there might arouse the suspicions of the city's politicized Council controlled police and subject the questioner to police surveillance. You see, rather than admit to the failure of revolutionary Government economic programs - small amounts of oil is used to manufacture plastic grocery and goods bags - revolutionary Council has imposed its Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment tax as a diversionary tactic.

Whole thing is dumb, lobbyists wanted us to use plastic to save trees, but the trees were commercial crops not freeland wide grown.
Once again, the man is just keeping us down.

Long Beach's bag lady was interviewed on a program broadcast by Orange County Public TV yesterday. She contemptuously referred to overtaxed and underrepresented oppressed taxpayers who live on the Long Beach plantation as "My people".

She also said that before "anti-jobs" Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment taxes were inflicted on - mostly poor - Long Beachers, she was spending $20 Millions of hard earned taxpayer money to clean up plastic grocery bags.

Rather than high paid agenda driven taxpayer supported judges suffering more tax burdens upon the declining numbers within the taxpaying minority community, shouldn't they be getting together with high-paid taxpayer funded Government defense lawyers and taxpayer funded public welfare agents? Perhaps they could agree to sentence miscreants - including the taxpayer supported Thug people - to meaningful community service.

One such community service might be cleaning up and recycling plastic bags. Wouldn't such a community service program be worth more than giving hard working taxpayers the choice of spending $20 Millions of THEIR hard earned money on the one hand, and Lowenthal harassment taxes on the other hand? Aren't our finny friends worth it?

Actually, although its hard to believe, one of the Lowenthal gang who dysfunctional Long Beach voters keep electing attempted to criminalize hard working Chinese restauranteurs who provide Polystyrene Food Containers to hold their customer's to-go Chinese food - this after the owners complied with revolutionary Government demands to refuse to serve Chinese dinners to hungry diners who smoke tobacco.

There must be a virus going around the mean streets of Long Beach called Lowenthalitis. Perhaps the taxpayer funded Center for Disease Control should send some qualified virologists to Long Beach before that viral infection becomes pandemic and infects voters throughout the entire bankrupt State of California.

Guest.

Yes. In "anti worker - anti taxpayer- anti consumer" revolutionary controlled Long Beach, any overtaxed consumer asking for a paper bag to carry his overpriced groceries home is subject to the payment of Lowenthal grocery and goods bag harassment taxes.

Ever since the revolution, Long Beach has been at the forefront of clever, but abusive, anti-taxpayer schemes such as this. Over and over again it has been proven that once the revolutionaries get their foot in the door in revolutionary controlled Long Beach, these schemes soon spread to other California cities.

Long Beach is home to one of the more radical of the expensive taxpayer funded California Government university system - probably second only to Berkeley - of filthy speech fame. There, wild eyed under worked and underpaid 60s 70s era Government professor have enough leisure time to dream up abusive tax schemes such as this. It's likely they don't actually do the "work" themselves, rather it's likely they assign it to one of their expensive taxpayer subsidized students.

Ronald
