#1,

It is a huge city that dates back to the time of the Aztecs. I would imagine there might be some lessons learned there...

LOL! My family is from there too. I visited when I was a kid and was alarmed to see broken glass shards on top of their block walls.

To keep the bad guys out they said..

I am amazed at the crude stupidity offered by room temperature IQ Americans who spill vile shit against a truly beautifully country like Mexico who is rich in History and tradition. typicall of the ugly american who rarely leaves their state much less their city to throw barbs at cultures that where ancient prior to the arrival of the Europeans to the Americas. you could learn a thing or two from Mexico and the Mexicans!

I lived in DF for several years as a foreigner. What I saw there was amazing, the culture, the history, the art, the architecture, the people. That is a city of strong humanistic thought, and incredible generosity. I left some very good friends there.
When I meet people who are from Mexico, they often ask me what I think of it.“Quizás no tienen lana, pero tienen vida.”
True, they have some problems, but so does L.A.

Keep an eye open for bargains and be prepared to be flexible about some of the items on your shopping list.
