I wonder if the CEO of washington mutual got any kickbacks for being able to get the loan approved for the illegal alien?

I wouldn't be surprised.

There are hundreds of thousands of loans like this, made to illegal aliens with Mexican "Matricular Cards" for their only ID. No birth certificate, no social security number, no collateral, no work history.

I have a friend who worked in corporate (loan officer) for a major bank here in California.
Several years ago that bank created a new position, "Latino Community Relations" for some arrogant La Raza guy they hired off the street.
The first thing that LCR guy did was get a program set up for the bank to issue mortgage loans and home loans to illegal aliens with only Mexican Matricular Cards as an ID.
Within weeks after his hire the bank hired another dozen employees (all Mexican - under the guise that they needed "Spanish speaking employees" for the "immigrant community). One of those new "Spanish speaking" Mexicans hired was assigned to work under my friend.

This new hire guy started writing loans like gangbusters, approving a dozen at a time, and he was bypassing the chain of command by submitting the "loans" to the "Latino Community Relations" guy instead of to my friend, who was his manager.
My friend took a look at the paperwork. Every one of those loans was made to a "Mexican Matricular Card", no other identification, there was no other information filled in on the loan application forms, as if that card alone was all that was needed to get a home loan.
And all of those loans had been "approved".

My friend decided to follow the guy who worked under him when he left for lunch. The guy left the bank corporate building and walked up the street, straight to the Mexican consulate. My friend tailed him and waited outside. When the guy came out he carried about a dozen of those bogus Mexican Matricular cards in his hand. He went straight back to the bank and at the end of the day submitted a dozen more home loan written to those cards.
My friend got the files, reviewed them and called the guy into his office. He told the guy that he had followed him to the Mexican consulate and that he knew the guy was writing bogus loans, and that he was taking this matter upstairs to the senior officers the next day.
The next morning my friend went to the bank and he was called upstairs, he went up and found the Mexican Matricular Card guy and the Latino Community Relations guy with the senior officers. The LCR guy went into a rage, ranting about my friend being a "racist" and "threatening" the Matricular Card guy. My friend tried to explain what he saw, and show the evidence of what appeared to be a rip off scam. Nobody listened to what my friend said. It was all about "racist", "racism", etc...
and my friend got fired.
They kept the thieving Latino Community relations guy and the rest of the Spanish speaking new-hires, who were writing bogus loans.

This is what happened in a lot of he banks here in California.
This is why our banks are in trouble.
This is why I don't want one dime of my taxmoney used to bail out any banks.

“Here's looking at ya!”

Washington Mutual Gives $615,000 Mortgage To Immigrant Making $...

__________

And the taxpayers get to pay for it.
When and what are we going to do in
response to our government selling out
America?
Oh thats right, NOTHING!
We will keep bitching and complaining
and re-electing these people.
i.e. Obama or McCain.

Our government had the idea behind all the bad loans to minorities. Can't blame it all on the banks.

Fannie Mae donated $500,000 to Chris Dodd and to Barack Obama; it also donated more than $100,000 to John McCain. And I heard Hillary lying her head off about why her husband signed into law a bill that required banks to offer sub-prime loans to low-income families.(No wonder everyone saw this coming and kept warning Congress about it for the past 7 years. Of course, Pelosi wanted to make Bush look bad so "Thanks, Nancy" for doing your part.) I also heard on the radio that 32% of the foreclosures in Colorado are on homes bought by illegals. Banks there said they were not allowed to verify citizenship or income and were not even allowed to ask to see a Social Security card. "Thanks, Bill. We know how busy you were in the Oval office."

Until we get the option to vote "None of the above" a "no" vote is a wasted voice. I wanted to skip this year myself but I have been think that voting third party sends a much stonger message and in a languge the pols can understand

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
