Former cops seek $300 million in suit

300 million a bit excessive. Wrongful death lawsuits don't even ask that much. These people need to get over themselves.

Not enough. They should have asked for a bit more. Commander Leroy Baca shouldn't have a job either since he had a felony charge which was then downgraded to a misdeamenor for domestic violence. it should be in the syestem unless it was expunge. Havent anyone notice that Leroy Baca cannot carry an off duty weapon at all,stem from his domestic violence case from the mid 80's. Obviously, we all have forgetten about the dozen of 911 calls made by his previous wife for assault and battery. It sure does run in the system.

You actually need to fired Lee Baca and Tanaka, they are main culprit of the problems at MCJ. They new about it and did nothing. Instead they are messing with the only honest people working in custody which are the OPS guys. Baca need to leave the ops guys alone and give them their money back or their deputy jobs back.
Chief burns needs to pay attention to nccf deputies who are doing some questionable illegal things overthere. Chief Burns also needs to get rid to four dirty deputies at nccf, Yeah, I'm talking about deputy ortiz, deputy perez, deputy meyers and deputy hawkins, those are the only matha f%$#%s that are abusing the inmates overthere.
for those of you who dont know, that deputy perez was going around hazing and assaulting the county police officers who are now deputies at nccf. But he mess with the wrong one and he got his ass beatdown by a county police officer. Yeah! it did happen and sr. okamoto was there and the sergeant saw it too. the sergeant asked deputy perez if he wanted to press charges against the county police guys but he say no since he started the fight. deptuy perez needs to be arrested for hazing and for bringing drugs into nccf for the southsiders.

It is a damn shame that you can pay dues to a UNION POPA and the one and only time you need them to step up to the plate and represent you they SELL you out like a Two Dollar Whore. POPA allowed several OPS personnel get laid off demoted and ruin their lives. I wonder if the sistuation was turned around if the Sheriffs was done wrong what would ALADS do. Not a piss poor job like POPA. Sorry. All of POPA exectives.

No other police Union in the nation would have allowed what POPA did to OPS happen. The union should have been held to answer each step of the way. The sheriffs may have won the battle, but i bet you they won't win the War. Wait until after April 26, 2012 and see what the judge says.

It is not a loosing battle, its just the begining of the truth to be told to the Judge and the public. Once the word gets out about how these former ops/county police officers were haze when they first came onto the sheriff,then and only then will the battle for justice begin.

Okay! it is on. April 26, 2012. One week from now is the last conference of the laswuit filed by former ops/county police officers against the sheriff department and the county based on violation of the officers bill of rights, the american disability act, age discrimination and finaly for hazing and abuse during the merger process and during the time ops personnel arrived as new deputies and custody assistants at the L.A county jails.

As we all know, former county police officer were mistreated, abuse, humiliated, and discriminated during the first year in which they began working at the county jails. These former county police officers or ops personnel also wittness abuses conducted by sheriff deputies against inmates.

Therefore, the former officers are waiting to go to court in order to tell Judge Berle and those civilians present in the court courthouse everything about the abuse, the excesive use of force and the hazing that is currently occurring at every county jail facility.

Here's the problems with our lawsuit. Many cirrent and former ops officers and former sups are too afraid and incompetent to come forward to report any abuses n violatiins committed by lasd. Its a very small number who would. If liebernan testifies we are so screwed. Hes out for himself period whether you guys believe it or not. See through his lies and piss poor knowledge of law enforcement and poor management skills. Sadly we also have some of our own who made it over to lasd and are against us. Hope we come through and win.

PPOA is not the only one to BLAME. ACTING RETARD STEVE LIEBERMAN allowed us to get screwed. He sold us al out, now look at him acting like he's a victims with us. Yeah right!
