It's always the other dogs who start's it then the pit is the one to be called Bad Bread Dog's . So sad Give PIT"S a chance!I go to the park with my pit he is very big but we have been goin to the park since he was 3 mo's old. there are bully dogs that go there they would come up to my Boy bit him then run' I used to tell them bullys do it now but when he gets bigger you wont be doin this to him. He is big and not even full grown yet, when they see us come i know they don't want us there but my boy is a sweet big boy, some one came up to me and asked us not to come to the park anymore but he never got in to any kind of fight so i can't see why they think i wont go anymore with him.Iam just afrid they will try to start somthing.what I am trying to say I Love My Big Boy if he gets pushed into a fight it will be Bad But I never want to see any dog get hurt I Love all anamals. So you folks out there don't think all Pits are bad .Give them a chance

Notice how all pit bull owners tell you how nice and gentle THEIR dog is???....until it rips off some kids face, that is.I rarely see a pit bull owner who is not a LOSER.....the favorite dog of drug dealers, gangbanger, thugs and wanna-be's.

it only depends how you raise a dog, which will depend if it is mean or not. If you train your dog to be a killer any dog can be a killer!

Yeah, pit bulls are sweet. That's why they are the #1 dog trained for and used in dog fights. Go Michael Vick! Glad to see his stank ghetto a$$ back out on the field making millions of dollars by the way. There are 2 kinds of pet owners in the world, responsible, educated ones and irresponsible inbred ones. Most of the reputable, non-White-trash insurance companies won't even insure a home where one resides. Doesn't matter anyway because pit bull owners usually live in section 8 public housing, skanky duplexes or rusted out single-wide trailers. So, feel free to defend, love and engage in beastiality with your pit bulls all you want. But when they rip half your kid's face off and leave them permanently disfigured, the blood is on your hands. If that doesn't bother you, I'm sure it will when the parents of someone elses child are having your wages garnished for the next 25 years to pay the medical bills for their kid. Better get out there and sell more crack, more a$$ or whatever you do to make your money and supplement your welfare.

Id have to say that its not the dogs fault by anymeans, this would be a perfect example of poor dog ownership. A person whom owns a dog must know he or she is the pack leader, this is important because the dog only knows pack mentality. You can own the meanest of all breeds and still have yet a perfect dog that wouldnt act with such violent behavior. Some people have different methods for such breeds, perhaps a firm hand does the trick, or the reward and praise method. Dogs are very intelligent. Which would indicate why some breeds are used for certain jobs such as k9 police work search and rescue gaurd duty and so on. The lack of intelligence in humans is the critical error here, people often buy breeds of dogs they know nothing or little about. As stated before pitbulls are terriers so the way this dog acted doesnt suprise me however the poor ownership does. Id never single out any breed cause each one has its traits. However its not uncommon to see any agressive breed be great family dogs with the right owner/family.

oh get over it dogs fight, all dogs fight but when its a pitt bull everyone freaks out
It's not a matter of getting over it....I have a lab/mix and I know that once he starts even over something little it can quickly escalate into something more. Now if my dog started his crap with a pitbull that does not lose at fighting it can be very ugly. I don't care how responsible you think you are unless you're the Dog Whisperer I don't trust you're gonna be able to stop your pit from fighting. It's what they are bred for no matter how gentle they may be with you and your family. It's in their bloodlines. What part of that don't you get??

I live in Levy County in Florida. There is no leash laws here and you can't even walk down the road you live on with out being assaulted by a dog. 99% of the time it's a pit. The dogs have more rights than people in this county. I'm not saying all pits are bad. I'm sure with good owners that care about there dogs have nice dogs. Most pit bulls I have had contact with have been very mean and dangers though.
