LA Fitness

Does anyone know when this gym is going to open? Every time we ask an employee at the sales office they say 4 to 6 weeks and that has been since last Oct.

they are dun! bankrupt

It sux. Just want a decent place to workout....need classes, equipmen, etc..

They won't tell us anything. Just "oh..2-3 more weeks. First it was Feb now July now bankrupt!"

pleeeeeeeze give us some answers!

My husband talked to someone at the office and they say the equipment will be in on the 21st and they will open within 5 day after that will see

I spoke with someone at the office today and I was told they would be opening on the 25th as well.

This gym has been open less than a month, and it is already terrible. The machines are covered with sweat. The locker rooms and showers are disgusting. The is toilet paper on the floors around the toilets and in the stalls that has been there for weeks. Minors were allowed in the pool and hot tub without parents, and dumped some kind of soap in the hot tub causing it to foam up. The staff just stood at the windows looking into the pool area and watched. NOONE did anything...the kids simply jumped into the pool and swam while the staff stood around and laughed. We had a question about our account. The sales person told us one thing and our i=online account said another when we asked the manager about it he was very rude and unhelpful. We do 2 work outs a day. In the evening there are at least 12 staff members on duty. Half of them are at the front desk on their cell phones of goofing off and when we go in they have to scan our keys. They act like having to scan our keys is a huge favor and that we are interrupting their fun. We are very disappointed after waiting nearly a year for this club to finally open it is not professional operated.

I unfortunately have to agree with everything that you have to say about LA Fitness and its'staff in Denton. I have also experienced first hand the exact same behaviors and filth you describe.

I'm wonderin' how folks feel about overweight women working out at this gym and exposing their cellulite in shorts or whatnot. I love exercising but i don't want to offend anybody with my rolls and cellulite. please let me know how you feel. thank you.

I feel good about it. That said Gidget, nobody cares, or ever cared, it has always been the excuse devil telling us not to try. In any workout center people are soley there to improve themselves. So unless you are smoking hot you can rest assured you are invisible. If you want to be self conscious, do it at the fast food restaurant or snack bar. That is where people who like to snicker expect us to be. Peace.

wow..where do i start..the overcrowded kids club where the girl just texts the whole time- or the filthy restrooms..rude staff...broken cardio..

we went to Fitness Evolution- its not as new but they are so nice and its never crowded

I wish with all the money the club makes that they could afford to have the cleaning service come after or before business hours. I generally come to the gym in the evening and am getting tired of having to dodge vacuum cords and cleaning personnel. I mean, you don't even see this in retail or office environments, it's really not too smart to have this in a business where patrons are constantly in motion. Just stupid.

Do not join LA Fitness in Denton. The employees are very rude. They do not have enough equipment and it is always packed. Pick another gym!

This gym is great, clean, I do have an issue with the rude sales people. I was in the middle of my workout when some guy named Richard came and started asking me to buy training from him. I said no, but was approached again by another sales guy about a week later named Tony, this guy has to be one of the most arrogant, disrespectful, jerks I have ever met. No, means NO!!! I come to work out not be harrassed by some 20 year old meat head named Tony. And what is it with these GMs? there seems to be a new one every month and every time they try to change my membership into some thing new. Guess their jobs are commission based. The only thing good about this place is that the machines are great, the front staff is friendly and very helpful, and the bathrooms are clean. Thank you to the staff member who took care of the clock requests from all of us in the cycle class tonight. The clock works great. Workout but stay away from sales staff
