Tennis players blast fees, hiring at Seminole County parks

Hey lets not forget David Rosenfeld he is an excellent pro who got ousted. The man has a lot of talent!

Brian did not apply for the job of head pro because he didn't think it was morally right to take a job Alice should have kept. He is really a class act.

seems there is so much resentment from Alice leaving that the new Head Pro, Roy can catch a break. He is talented, good and well organized, but seems the people playing at Sanlando Park cannot let go and move on

The new head Pro Roy CANNOT catch a break. No one is happy and they forget this is their free time and should let go and move on and have fun and play tennis.

Roy is gone? I have always been a firm believer in if it ain't broke don't fix it. I would go to bat for Brian M. as the head pro of Sanlando he is a great guy, and very knowlegable when it comes to tennis.

I just heard that the new Tennis Director at Sanlando was fired. He was there less than 3 months.

maybe it is management that is broken. it has been an on going merry go round with management not pros.

personally I enjoyed the workout and learning and tips roy coopersmith gave in our team clinics. i know other teams did as well. i think maybe some teams were complacent from the last coaching and never really improved. Roy really tried to help. Sad he was shot in the back

Actually I assure you these comments are not comming from Roy. As I inidicated, I am a long term attendee of Sanlando. Did you know that the head person above TK (Roy's boss) is actually Alice's daughter in the leisure activity position. As usual politics rule the roost and bitterness over the firing of Alice is taking down San Lando. I am sure you probably did not know this, but again that doesn't surprise me considering you are just one of the bitter women who again should be home raising kids and spending your husband's hard earned money. Roy is the best pro we have had at San lando. I should know I played with all of them to include Charlie Obrien for a number of years. You people just don't know a good thing when you have it and trust me Roy Coopersmith will be fine; infact, I will be still playing with him. Sanlando on the other hand will not. By the way did you also know that Roy was responsible for finally getting a schedule put together that actually makes sense. The people in the office the other day still can't get anything right. Again, I should know considering I was watching them as they were talking to prospective new players wanting to come out for programs. SAD SO SAD!!!!
