First it was public, then it was private, then it was public.

Cedar Fair has boring parks. They buy a park, strip it of everything that gives it character to whatever is the lowest cost to run. They take out the animals, they reduce the food variety, they reduce non-ride entertainment options and cheapen the merchandise. They cut, cut, cut their costs to try and boost profits Pretty soon that starts to cut down the variety of their patrons. They lose older people and are stuck with a bunch of college kids who eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in their cars and have no pocket money to spend inside the parks.

Hey, I hire me, I can cut your costs to zero! Watch how that works!

Now that you mention it, I do remember a zoo with animal shows at Cedar Point. What was it called? Jungle Larry's, I think.

Doesn't Cedar Point have an IMAX theater?

I don't think Cedar Point is boring at all.

Yes, it was Jungle Larry's and was in the area from about Mantis around the tip of the water inlet where the 50's Diner is. I think it was replaced by the Steam Boat ride, which in turn was replaced by the Coasters.

I have been going to Cedar Point since there was a two level admission policy where you got a wrist band if you wanted to ride rides. I do not think it is boring.

If you want income producing investments, you should have purchased natural gas limited partnerships - either production or pipeline, 3-6 months ago. You've missed the best buying opportunities.

When natural gas prices turn, they will start throwing off some fat dividends.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aries

There's a lot of tension in the air, with certain people poised to spit the dummy, as Mars turns retrograde in your fifth house of romance, children and speculation. Confrontations are likely. If these are nothing to do with you and you just happen to be directly in the firing line, your best bet is to make yourself scarce. But if you are responsible for their outraged feelings then you need to face the music, otherwise things will only get worse.
