Why don't they go back to their country of origin. Then their kid could have been in a suicide bombing, and they could sue them......moral of story..WATCH YOUR KIDS IDIOTS.

Where were the Parents? I would NEVER leave a toddler in a pool even if there were 100 lifeguards on duty. Enough said.....

Why do courts waste their time with things like this when there are really serious things to tie up their time?

I think the park should sue the parents for neglience and not doing their job as parents and add defamation of character ` do not pay them one single dime !! They do not deserve it. Sue the parents $100K and watch them buckle. My sympathy goes to the poor child who suffered because of poor parenting.

$75K seems a bit cheap honestly.
It said "at least 75k." I wouldnt make anything of that at all. State courts in Ohio only allow you to put "in excess of 25k" in order to avoid lawyers playing games with numbers (ie my billlion dollar lawsuit against __)

Dear Jackass,

You haven't heard one word of testimony, seen one exhibit -- you don't really know the first damned thing about this lawsuit.

Not only should the water park sue these parents but also the attorney's that incourage such bull, also the ohio courts that allow such frivolous lawsuits.

Where were the parents? The pool/park should counter-sue for libel and wrongful lawsuit.

What kind of moron parent leaves their 3 year old alone in a pool? It's not the water park's fault these idiots paid no attention to their child.

That's sad the baby lost his life, but where were the parents? They should have been paying more attention to their child and not depending on someone else to watch him. So now the park gets sued, amazing. Maybe the parents should be sued for "neglect"

Where is the compassion wrote:
Haven't you ever done something - even something involving your child - that could have turned out much worse than it did? We all have.
This was a terrible terrible accident and, without knowing the entire story, how can you be so intolerant and hateful to the family whose child is now gone. So many of our problems today have to do with us (Ohioans, Michiganders, US or foreign citizens) finding fault, not being tolerant, not having compassion. I certainly hope that if something so tragic happens in my family that it will not have to deal with my grief and all the painful comments from people who definitely DO NOT know the entire story. I'm ashamed of all of you!
Since you feel so bad for the parents irresponsibilty maybe you would like to comfort them by paying the legal fees for the water park and any moronic monetary award they may receive. I am a parent and I take responsibilty for my actions and those of my children or I would have sued at least a dozen different entities each time one of my kids got hurt and ended up in the ER!

A 3 YEAR OLD SHOULD NEVER BE UN ATTENDED NEAR WATER. THE WATERPARK IS NOT AT FAULT IN ANY WAY. I BLAME THE INDIVIDUALS..PARENTS OF THIS CHILD FOR THE UNFORTUNATE DEATH. THE PARENTS SHOULDN'T RECIEVE A DIME FROM THE WATERPARK. ITS A CRIME THAT THESE PEOPLE SUED A BUSINESS FOR THIER OWN IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR AND REFUSE TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILILTY FOR THEIR SON'S DEATH. ITS INSANE TO THINK YOU CAN GO TO A WATERPARK AND TURN A 3 YEAR OLD LOOSE....GIVE ME A BREAK!

I SWIM AT KALAHARI WATER SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR...I KNOW THE LAYOUT OF THE WATERPARK AND HOW DISTRACTED ADULTS CAN BECOME. I HAVE 4 CHILDREN OF MY OWN. THOSE PARENTS DON'T DESERVE A DIME.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Sagittarius

Once again, your nerves are getting the better of you. There will be some fraught moments unless you can control your temper and not get drawn into verbal fisticuffs at the drop of a paper hat. It won't help if a partner is feeling neglected as that will give you something else to worry about. You need to relax and start enjoying yourself!
