BOYCOTT TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!!
In Boise, ID, congregations of 3 churches with different faiths have joined together to publicly denounce and agreed to boycott concerts and not purchase CD’s or other merchandise related to this disturbed teen. Swift, a self described teen role model who sings of her teenaged angst has more than a few social problems to address. Her attractiveness and freshness is dwarfed by the realization that she needs some serious help. First, she tries to have the anger of Alanis Morrisette and the vocal attributes of Jewel, but fails miserably due to not having the talent of either. Her recent #1, Our Song, even though it has spent 6 weeks at number one, mainly by misguided references to God, is a testament to a rebellious and troubled teen.
Our Song is about a teenager who sneaks out of her house to visit his girlfriend because he is afraid his parents will find out. He breaks into her room to leave roses, and has to whisper so his mother doesn’t hear the call. Perhaps the boy in this song should take this into account. She wrote this at 13..at that age she should be thinking about something else that kissing him on the first date. We feel this was a metaphor for something else. She actually laughs with glee about both sneaking out on their parents!
Tim McGraw is about Swift stalking a boy who broke up with her. She really did go to his house and leave a letter out of revenge for his breaking up with her. Normal??
Picture to Burn. The most frightening of all the songs. She threatens to ruin her ex-boyfriends life by telling his friends he’s gay if he tells them how obsessive and crazy she is. She openly admits planning her revenge against him and says her father will take physical action against him (a minor)(Do you all see the pattern developing here?).
Teardrops on my Guitar. She keeps the photo of someone who does not want to date her on her nightstand. What is wrong with this adult? This is the definition of a stalker!
Should Have Said No. More uncontrolled anger!
The rest of the album is a bunch of meaningless garbage.
I ask you all to write your stations and join in with your local churches to boycott this artist.

I'm a huge fan who believes in God and I'd like to explain the songs in the way they arer interpreted by a mainstream audience. I don't feel they'rte harmful.

Our Song - Her parents know they're together. He comes into her house to leave roses because she's having a bad day and needs cheering up. He doesn't break in! They're whispering on the phone becauyse it's late, not because the parents don't know they're together. As for the sneaking out, it's wrong but a lot of teens do it anyway.

Tim McGraw - she's not stalking him, just reminiscing. The letter isn't revengeful, but a sweet memory of the time they had together.

Picture To Burn - Gay is a word used by a lot of teens to mean stupid, which is how she meant it. It's been edited out for radio, just in case, and replaced with "you won't mind if I say" but she didn't mean it in the other sense. Her dad won't harm the guy, it was just a joke to show how protective he is of his daughter's heart being broken.

Teardrops - She keeps the picture because they are close friends, and she thinks he is cute. She looks at it and wishes they could be more than friends.

Should've - Her boyfriend cheated on her, and she found out through a friend.She cried when she found out, and he tried to win her back, make excuses and get to her emotionally. He should've said no to the temptation of cheating. If he didn't, he wouldn't have to beg her to take him back, which she wouldn't do anyway. She asks if the other woman was worth losing her over, which it wasn't.

Taylor Swift is really religous and you people are just saying all this shit because you are jealous, faggot, freaks, and nobody will care if you dont buy her CDs becaus she has a lot more fans where that came from so stop being gay and stop the boycott against Taylor Swift (an awsome singer)
