Canyon County Emissions Testing

The Air Quality Board has recommended Canyon County residents be required to test their vehicles for emissions.

I work in an auto repair shop. Passing emissions will do very little for are air, & will not solve problems just creat more problems. As time progresses cars burn cleaner.

Most of the vehicles that cause the most pollutants are the older vehicles which typically get exempted from emissions testing. Find another way to fund raise.

Don't limit the ablity for people in Canyon County to get around. Treasure Valley needs public transportation before enforcing any laws. Many people in Canyon County can not afford car repairs.

This is a Catch-22 for any car-owner. Decreasing emissions usually means decreasing fuel economy. Our cars are not to blame for particulate readings, it's the fault of diesel big rigs, tractors, and unregulated economies like that of China.
