That is the WOST idea ever. Well, Cadigan would be equally as bad.

I would love to have Pete Dinelli as Mayor. Great idea !!!!!
Better than Cadigan or Greg Payne and Ken Sanchez is Marty Chavez real good buddies now. I think Dinelle is a very smart man and I know he would be fare man.

I think some other viable candidates will come out of the woodwork the closer we get to the next city election. I hope anyway!

I'm far from a Dinelli fan but I'd take him over Mayor Martyr in a heartbeat, provided our vertically challenged Mayor decides to run again.

Payne is a Chavez clone but much more ignorant. He's in Marty's back pocket. He's not qualified to clean pet cages. Marty still owes him.

Ken Sanchez doesn't have all his dogs barking at the same time, plus he looks really sickly - like Lurch from the Munsters, like he sat on a Kirby vacuum cleaner.

Cadigan was my early choice but he's getting overzealous on issues.

Although Dinelli will never get a Mr. Congeniality Award, he might be a good choice; he's smart and fair.

HOWEVER, I think it's time that we have a mayor who is NOT an attorney. Please. An ordinary citizen with extraordinary common sense would do wonders for our city.

(Maybe someone on this forum should sign up to run for the job. Afterall, every single one of us are know-it-alls. I'd do it, but I know tooooooo much...hence the name).

:-)

I'm still waiting for Dinelli to clean up the De Anza Motor Lodge on Central. The city already owns it. It's basically a crack house.

I'd run for mayor but this city doesn't seem to want reasonable taxes, low crime, decent public transportation, or an accountable city government, so I'd most likely lose.

Perhaps I still have time to learn the payoff and cover up game before the election.

You might as well have the Toyota commercial guy who puts that crazy grin on his face, nods his head and says, "YESSS!"

You're funny! But, he can't do worse than Marty.

Hey, mchammer: Here is a mini bio for him from IMDb.

"He graduated Albuquerque High School in 1993. He then went on to the University of New Mexico to study acting. He has been in numerous stage plays in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he currently lives. He has been involved in the live local 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' in Albuquerque, Socorro, N.M. and Los Angeles as a regular emcee and cast member for years. He's also studied in martial arts, is a professional at juggling and did some stand up comedy in Los Angeles."

Dinelli in the Rocky Horror Picture Show...in that case he's got my vote (as long as he dresses like tim curry and does the time warp song)

LMAO! Oh, my bad. I thought you were asking who Garberini is.

But, Dinelli would probably do well in the RHPS...he's scary already.

That was the American Inn. The De Anza is the next crack house to the east.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Cancer

You have stars in your eyes and you're in a really romantic mood today. Your idea of heaven is to be with that special person in your life, preferably doing something very nice. If you meet someone new or a relationship gets off the ground today, things will always be rather dreamy and otherworldly between you. It will be as though real life, with all its problems, never intrudes on your time together.
