With Tulsa's roads in such poor condition don't people understand that you will hit a pothole and spill your drink.

Perhaps when Bryan sobers up he may want to understand who the people that were hurt really are. Beth studies language at OSU in Stillwater. She has never touched alcohol nor illegal drugs and I look upon her as my own daughter. Ethan turned 20 the day of this accident, a graduate of Bartlesville High School and an honor student at Tri County Tech. An Eagle Scout who has never drank alcohol nor taken illegal drugs. Ethan has made me a proud father for 20 years and I hope that Bryan can learn that drinking and driving exacts a high price...

Hope your son is going to be ok. He can use this awful experience as a step stool in teaching about drinking and driving as a victim not as a drunk. So sad that people are so selfish as to put other peoples lives at risk because they aren't adult enough to be responsible and not drink and drive. Oklahoma legislation needs to get sticter on the perpetrator and on the place that served this person drinks and let them walk out and drive. There are ways these establishments can prevent drinking and driving but a majority of them just dont care!! Time to get MADD OKLAHOMA AND STOP THESE IDIOTS FROM KILLING AND HURTING INNOCENT PEOPLE!!

Do you know if Mr. Capehart was charged with DUI or if there has been any citing in this "crash"? I don't ever consider an alcohol related incident an "accident". A choice was made to drink, a choice was made to drive. It was a crash and thank God no one was killed. How serious were Beth's injuries?

I'm told Capehart got a DUI & was released with 2 broken ankles. Beth had a concusion, facial fractures, broken teeth, a transverse open fracture of the tibia & fibia (both lower leg bones broken & one came thru the skin), broken right wrist, puncture wound on the left knee & multiple large bruises & glass cuts on her arms. Ethan had a worse concussion, & right arm abrasions & cuts. Beth spent 6 days in the hospital, is now in a wheelchair, & will be on the road to recovery for many months to come. She has steel plates, rods & pins in her right leg & will need orthopedic rehabilitation to walk, I'm told by her medical caretakers. Although Beth blacked out in the crash & doesn't remember any of it(I'm thankful for that), Ethan however was traumatized because he remained aware & saw the girl he loved broken, bleeding, & unconcious.
Beth's family appreciates any prayers said on her & Ethan's behalf. Although I won't go into detail here, we have seen evidence of God's grace in this situation & thank you, for those that prayed for her & Ethan.

Thank you for your hopeful wish! They are on the road to recovery. It will be months before we will know how well the healing progesses for both of them.

People who drive drunk are selfish, thoughtless, & uncareing to risk forcing the injuries on other innocent drivers, that my daughter & her boyfriend have had to suffer.
I hope that Bryan Capehart never drinks another drop of alcohol in his life!

it makes me sick. i hate the fact that people drink and drive. laws should be tougher. i know someone right now who has been caught twice and has gotten off pretty easy because the first time she was a juvenile. 17. so i guess the first one is not showing on her record. it should. i know another guy who did 2 years in prison for driving drunk. he is now a totally different guy. they should lock up everyone that does it first time no matter what no matter the age.

My family are victims of a drunk driving crash. My husband suffered massive brain stem injury and is permanently disabled. We have been living this horror for many years now. I pray that Beth will fully recover and that Ethan will be able to overcome this horrific trauma. May God bless your family and cover each of you with his love and protection in the days ahead.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Sagittarius

Mercury turning retrograde in your house of finances carries a rather unseasonal message, because it's telling you to pay attention to your finances over the next few weeks. If you already know that you've overspent this month, you won't need to be told that a few economies are just around the corner. Get the facts straight and pay attention to the small print. You may also have to make some adjustments to an intimate relationship so it can move into another phase.
