I'm not a pro-government person, but they got it right making maryjane illegal. Sure everyone has the right to live there life they want to, but the effects of pot are long reaching. I've seen generations of disfunctional families, neglected children, horrible car accedents, etc. from the use/abuse of it. I was a longtime supporter of it, but fact is that it does more harm than good.
The funny thing is that exercise is way better in fighting depression, helping with ADD, and stress than weed could ever do. Weed is for lazy people that just don't give a damn about anyone else but themselves.

I have seen your posts and see that you, like many have strong feelings on this subject. Understandably so.
Now, the number one abused drugs in the USA are prescription drugs. People share and sell their prescription drugs freely, whether in pill form or not. so changing the medium to pill form will not solve the issue of sharing and selling.
I personally chose marijuana out of the painkiller options presented to me by my doctor. I had not used marijuana since highschool, and the only reason I chose it, was it was the only non physically addicting painkiller I could find. There are habitual addictions with most things in life, but a physical addiction to regular prescription painkillers is a severe addiction, and one that has been a large problem in the USA for over 40 years.
Now while medical marijuana is prescribed for cancer patients in kemotherapy, to help with the nausea, pain and lack of hunger, it is not prescribed for lung cancer, and on the state law, no lung disorder is mentioned as one of the allowable prescribed ailments.
The best medium is the Inhaler. Easy to use, no smoke, hard to share, and I would assume, difficult to sell, seeing as most buyers would want to smoke, not breath an inhaler.

I love your passion and enthusiasm for this subject, but I felt that some solid information might soothe your furrowed brough.

i think weed is good. yeah, people that have problems with there lungs shouldn't smoke. i think that the gov. should let it be legal they would make alot of money if they did. also weed helps people with all different kind of ways. like me when im pissed at the world i smoke one and i feel better.my mom smokes weed to help her sleep cuz she has problems sleeping at night. legalize it please!!!!!!!!!!

Why not just give the pill form?
This is a pill form dronabinol=Marinol.

(1)Marijuana's effects on coordination and short-term memory make it inadvisable to drive, operate heavy machinery or try to learn anything important while under the drug's influence.

(2)marijuana smoking It has 50% to 70% more known carcinogens than tobacco smoke.

And as for the AIDS people maybe puffing on a Joint would have kept them from needles.
But as the world knows all Pot smokers should be in jail for life!

Not only is marinol more expensive and out of reach of most medical users it has so many more side effects than medical marijuna. The use of marijuna has been around for centuries and is especially usefull in the treatment of lung cancer patients. The medical use was voted on and passed by California and the non medical using public should become more informed and educated of the benefits

marijuana should NOT be legalized. if weed was legal the big drug companies would get to it and make it shity. just look what they did to tobacco, perfectly harmless until it was injected with tar and nicotine. no, weed should not be legalized, but tolerated. just be smart and dont get caught. its not that hard
