Found this in California Coast & Ocean in an article about photographing the Coast;

Q: What have you learned from the project?

GA: We’ve learned that the coast is eroding very quickly, and that despite the erosion and sea rise, people continue to want to build along the very edge of the coast. You can really see it from the air. Some places you think are protected, like Santa Cruz, are almost entirely fortified with seawalls.

Obivously, what we're doing is not working.

To protect the coast we need to build off-shore structure that will blunt the waves power.

These structures could also be designed to produce electricity 24/7/365.

Any bright engineers out there?

Looks like we've done a good job but have more to do. What about the new sanctuary center they are talking about putting in? Is this going to help get people focused?

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Leo

You're really on the ball today so there's no danger of anyone tricking you or fobbing you off with lame excuses. If you suspect that a loved one is hiding something from you, you'll want to question them in a lot of detail. That's all very well but try not to turn it into the third degree, nor to make them feel hounded or bullied by your desire to know what's going on.
