What's Up With OPD Because This Is Not An Rare Or Isolated Incident.

Guns didn't do this, BAD people did and continue to do on a daily basis in Oakland. It's difficult for the police to do their job with so many people scrutinizing their every move. Will there be outrage over this??? People need to stop crying for the thugs and start crying for the devastation that those evil doers have been allowed to commit and get away with in Oakland.

My heart is sad for the officers and their families, my thoughts and prayers are with them.

And I bet inisa love is praying that they are all white.

Negros better really better be carefull driving after this incident... Cops will be in an agitated state now....jumpy.... ready to send your ass to hell...over something as simple and as innocent as you scratching an itch.

If you are in your car... dont pack it full of your buddies...dont have anyone in your car that is drinking or doping...

Check your car to make sure your tag is up to date...that all your lights and signals work and that nothing is falling off the car...like a dragging muffler....lol

Keep your drivers license and insurance papers on the seat or dash with you... maybe keep your drivers license in a plastic card...like one of those holders for a scan badge...maybe with a neck lanyard....hang it over the mirror or something..... just keep your drivers license out is the big point.

You do not want to have to reach into your pockets if a cop pulls you over.

Keep your hands in the open...when the police pull me over....which isnt very often...I always have my license on the dash and my insurance stuff on the dash by the time he gets to my car or truck...and I also have both hands on the window sill or one hand on top of the wheel...I also shut my vehicle off.

Dont bitch or whine...use yes sir and no sir.... speak politely... dont make any sudden moves....try and not scratch or stretch....

be still and be polite.....dont have to smile and make chit chat....just sit there calmly.

When you get your ticket...ask any questions you might have but dont argue or gripe...you can do that in a court of law with a lot of witnesses....arguing with a cop only escalates the problem...

Same goes for a cop on the street.... dont make any sudden moves....yes sir, no sir..... dont let him push any of your buttons... It is better for you to play a tom for a few minutes than end up with 20 pieces of lead in your body because you dont think that cop should speak to you the way he is...

Make sure and tell the cop you are reaching for your identification...and do it slowly.... not slow motion....but do it slowly and smoothly so he can be sure you are not whipping a gun out from behind you.

Always keep your hands out in the open... keep them together at your waist or cross your arms....

You should do this all the time..and anywhere in the US.... white or black....

Too many people have died at the hands of a scared or excited policeman....many have died for no reason other than making a sudden move or scratching an itch in front of a trigger happy or inexperienced cop.

If they were white, I can't help but find myself thinking that it's no great loss when I think of all the black men that have been brutalized and died at the hand of white officers even after they were handcuffed. 1) Should Negroes allowed to have weapons, since they can't seem to control themselves and their criminality?
2) Should Police protection be afforded to Negroes at all? Should they be allowed to mingle (and infect) at all with Real people?
3) Not why wasn't Mixon in jail, but why was he still an American citizen? If a problem is not fixable, sometimes exile is the best solution.

The man, a 27-year-old Oakland resident, was later fatally shot in a gun battle with SWAT officers in a nearby apartment complex where he hid.

It seems that when they gat a position of authority, the common sense just evaporates and they start violating the civil rights of blacks. Many a young black men have died at the hand of racist white cops. They and their supporters deserve exactly what those four got.
