If you have a son who needs treatment, I ask that you reconsider sending him to the Teen Challenge in Bonifay, Florida. The "director" of that center, Pastor Dave Rutledge, is by no means a Pastor and is certainly not a Christian. I am not an angry person, I am a concerned aunt whose nephew was in this center and saw that Mr. Rutledge did not have my nephew's best interest at heart. When my brother tried to contact him to discuss his concerns, Mr. Rutledge did not return his calls or emails. I too tried to reach out to Mr. Rutledge because I'm a born again Christian and Mr. Rutledge was not being a good witness for the Lord but after 9 messages with the receptionist, and three pleas that I made on his personal voicemail, I received absolutely no response. I am not bashing Teen Challenge, I am actually a proponent of them, however, Mr. Rutledge is not a responsible, caring, Christian man and he has no right running anything, certainly not a rehab center and certainly not one that is known for teaching biblical principles.

quite a lot of these people running them are doing it for wrong motives ie self self self.
