I'm sooooo sorry to hear about this. I read the Father's original pleas for help here on the RB a month or so ago and my heart went out to him. God rest his soul. And, I hope his son has family somewhere who can take over where his Dad sadly left. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

This is shocking! Not that long ago he was searching for a way to take care of his son because he wasn't getting any assistance. What is his son to do now?

For those of you who said all of those mean things about him taking advantage of the system, I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY NOW!

Bill Conway, you did your very best. Rest in peace.

Saddened and surprised to learn about Mr. Conway's death. Our condolences and prayers go out to the family. Surely hope family members can unite in a new plan of care for Josh, and not institutionalize him. Mr. Conway cared for his son with compassion and love for many years. He had an un-selfish, loving and devoted spirit. May he finally rest in peace. He was an example to all.

This is extremely sad... And my heart goes out to him. Is there a bank routing number for Donations? Thats ashame that homecare, and ssi are so qiuck to stop funds knowing that a majority of the time the minute the person leaves the hospital, and go back home that everythings back to the way it was before so this poor man had to loose his and his sons home. Soo Sad!

Gennyj, you are so right. It was pitiful to see how rotten some people were towards Mr. Conway. It was unneccessary cruelty. How can people be sooooo UNcompassionate, especially in this situation that Mr. Conway faced. Let's hope that KARMA catches up to them, it always does!

Mr. Conway rented from my husband and communicated his needs in advance about losing his funding and never attempted to take advantage of his situation. Our prayers go out to Josh and Brian and all his friends and this is such a sad situation but know that Bill loved his son and did what was best for him always, Linda and Dave
