One thing I agree with; SAPD are a joke. They are
ticket happy and just just plain pain lairs. I honestly believe from the captain(the fat guy) down
to the revenue collectors: we should be able to vote them into an out of office.

Interesting website. Aside from the clear violation of rights documented there, I found the letter from the town lawyer (linked to in the "raid" story) interesting just because it nowhere identifies the signer as the town's attorney--not on the letterhead, not under his signature.

The sheer arrogance of "this is my name and you already know how important I am" comes through loud and clear....

I for one as a SA res and VERY happy with this result. These new individuals will, I hope offer us something more than some silly excuses! "Oh this is why we have to tax the ONLY hotel in S.A...this is why we have are terrible at cleaning up a creek thus resulting in flooding.....we are the smallest city, thus need a pay raise...these police cars with 50k miles are soo old and beat up we need 90K for a big old suv and dodger charger for whatever reason to travel the 50 mph it takes to get to some incident."

They break up bands playing music in a yard at 3pm, but allow jckhammering till 1am. A complete waste of time and my money.

Shame on the IJ for portraying SA residents as uninterested or aloof at the results of this poll. Do your homework IJ.

If t
this is Ford; I wouldn't brag about being a lawyer. I like you as a person, but
I know where you went to school. Your spelling, grammar is atrocious. Anyone can be a lawyer--a good one is a something to brag about. If someone out there has the stomach for law, in CA it's very easy to go to an internet school. Passing the bar is another thing, but once you get your license you can live off other people's hard earned money
and lay dingy chicks.

Aw, go easy on poor Ford. How would you like to have been tagged with the legal name of "Aylsworth Crawford Greene III"?

The number of unrented retail space on San Anselmo av. might have something to do with it.

The San Anselmo Police are responsible for the LACK of beggars in the hub. The hub is a PERFECT begging spot. If it were in SF there would be 3 beggars running shifts at 120-200 $$ per. These bums would live there and just ugly up the whole scene. Because of the SAPD...NO BUMS!!!!!
RIGHT ON SAPD
FAR OUT SAPD
Do continue to run the fools outta town!!
When wrongfully charging some POS from Clearlake....do so with gusto...knowing that I am right behind you! I, the SA resident who benefits from the NO BUM POLICY.
SAPD..if you should feel that a subject is a..... "maybe"...charge the #%@$ out of him. MAKE IT UP
The public pretender will recommend some "employ ex-cop" program. He will be enslaved by the county...GOOD!
Heres what they do

Once you have been identified as a civil rights activist......
If they decide to.....
They have one of their stooges charge you
You go to jail
You are scared
You can't believe the state has conspired to rob you of your civil rights
You know no one will understand
You know it will be seen as they say
You give in and renounce your struggle
You accept the indignities without a peep
You no longer aspire to greatness
You survive, you give only the minimum
You relinquish hope as it carries the painful reminder of your last hopeful act and it's consequences
You no longer hope for the young nor do you ever see them..you turn from all worldly entanglement
You just dissappear
