The lawsuit is from the same psycho responsible for the Azusa "Turkeygate" scandal, where she tried to accuse Joe Rocha (now Mayor Rocha) of stealing Turkeys when he was really giving them to homeless people.

Also she was voted out because she took campaign contributions from Vulcan.
Now she is trying to distract Azusa voters from the FACTS about how bad "Measure A" is for Azusa.

Is there any way we could vote this person out of office again? I mean without her ever holding office again?

Duarte set aside $700,000 to fight Azusa and Vulcan...

Here's something to ponder...
Why not use some of that money to help AQMD buy and maintain some air monitors for their city ...If Vulcan would've been guilty of air quality violations, well this would've been the ticket to shut down their operation ...That would've been one of the best ways to put that money to use.

But instead, their city leaders stooped low to rather help sponsor a referendum in Azusa...

Amazing the timing, just before Thanksgiving.

Just the mental prompt to have people go straight to "Turkey Gate" and what a snipe hunt THAT was.

I do believe they are using that money in their law suit. The one you have been advocating for quite the while.

Shame should be reserved for the person that came out of retirement to serve her corporate overlord. Getting a new Vulcan 300 to drive?

I look at it a different way. I believe she came out against Duarte because she believes they could possibly be acting in a corrupt manner and if nothing else, unethically. She has lived in Azusa her whole life and truely believes in the City! I support her 100% as do many other residents of the community.

If I lived in Duarte (below Foothill) I would be up in arms about the city spending tax payer money on a rediculous law suit!

Shame on Duarte and the clowns running the city!

Finally law enforcement is stepping in. Like the city of Bell, Duarte denies their involvement in the referrnedum. What a joke. Fasana says that Duarte "hasn't used any resources to support the refenedum" A bold face lie. I am sure that Bell denied everything until they got caught. After watching the Duarte council march into Azusa city hall over and over and send out postcards, do they really think they can get away with this???? Time to face the music Duarte.

Shame on you David. You think bullying and name calling will work. If you are resorting to name calling it means that you dont have a valid argument that would support Duarte. I didn't vote for Diane, but who cares. Now that Duarte is being investigated by the DA, I hope the Tribune posts the all the stuff on-line so we know who was involved, what they did, and how much money they spent.

I'll bet your name is not Manny. I'd be surprised if you even live near the mining or in Azusa. If you are a resident of Azusa, you are out of step with the majority of the residents here. Most of us are not selfish enough to push that mess onto our neighbors. First it's No on Measure A so we can stop the expansion of the mining. Only No means NO!

No one is bullying anyone except for the big money. Many families live too close to the strip mining operation. It's time to stop the destruction of our mountains, first by stopping the expansion. I'll "swap" you the truth for the "yes" lies. You probably didn't vote because you don't live here.

So, the former (one who was NOT chosen by the citizens of Azusa to run their city for a second term) mayor is a member of Vulcans Canyon City Alliance.

And as a member of Vulcans Canyon City Alliance, she is making allegations against Duarte officials, go figure.

The point is, as usual, there are those who serve the residents, and those who serve the corporate interest against the will and good will of the people.

What about the public funds used here to back a power grab by an out of state corporation against the will of the residents?
