Glendora winning this award is no surprise to anyone that's ever tried to get public documents. They question you and your motives and then delay - delay - delay.

Having seen this illegal activity taken againist residents who wished to have Public Records first hand, I can tell all this City called Glendora, California is doing it in another manner.
This time they have raised the APPEALS FEE to a whopping $2,000.00 dollars per appeal request, other cities in the ajoining area require nothing to $400.00 dollars.
This is clearly another attempt of this Illegal City Council to STOP all interest by the average resident in to the questionable activities of this City COuncil and City Staffer's.

The shadow knows, this city is still fumbling with the reality of they are not as all powerful as they thought and those pesky lawsuits turn their heads around and make them tow the line. Laws are for everyone not just the special few who believe they run the city of Glendora, California. This city is run by the residents not a bunch of knot heads who abuse their position in this cites local government. P.S. This city LOST their (with out merit) lawsuit that was brought against them last year, ordered to pay in full all legal fees incurred to fight this lawsuit against the city! Each time this city council blows it;s chest up and says no we will see you in court, turns against them and they still pay big time.

Case No. M 82091 - Monterey County Superior Court - Honorable Robert O'Farrell. Court date: December 06, 2007. All persons interested in the matter of the redevelopment plan for merged Glendora redevelopment project as adopted by ordinance 18445 on July 18, 2006 by the city of Glendora, et al. Disposition: Page 62. Petitioner's reverse validation action is granted because Glendora's findings of blight are not supported by substantial evidence in the record as set fourth above. The court directs the attorney for the County to prepare an appropriate judgment consistent with this ruling, present it to all counsel for approval as to forum, and return it to this court for signature. What does all this mean, Glendora LOST the case for justification to with hold tax monies due to L.A. County tax accessors office with in the blighted areas so claimed by Glendora, California.

Has this been a bad day for Glendora's City Council, AGAIN? I see their supporters are out in force pumping or dumping OLD news around the web. Better luck next time-dumpers.

This is another case this City Council hid from it's residents and look what happened. Glendora lost yet another LAWSUIT, but this one had very BIG implications for each and every resident living or doing business in Glendora. Case No. M 82091 / This city "Glendora' is libel for the fine of $423 MILLION dollars as a judgment fine payable to L.A. County. Thats roughly $8,460.00 per each resident living in Glendora, California. Nice going City Council - now that you lost the money what are you going to do for us NEXT?

In reading the City of Glendora's web site lately there seems to be a plan hatched by the insiders at City Hall to start destroying RECORDS. Question if they destroy records why would there be a need for "any resident of Glendora or California" to ask for NAY records if they go ahead and destroy them "ALL?"

Was Gary Clifford under the influence of? We don't what he was under the influence of at the time, could it have been his and the other two retreads were having a hard time finding locations to post their campaign signs through out Glendora, California?
So to counter this FACT of not finding residents in Glendore who were willing to allow Clifford,Herman an Tessitor lawn space for their signs, these three cooked up a scheme of halting the enforcement of a local municipal election campaign sign law.
Which by the way they signed in to law months earlier?
What Gary Clifford was worried about on that night he illegally arrested the two girls, HIS POLITICAL CAREER!
Quote from article in the SGVTribune:
"We have wanted to settle this for a long time and Mr. Clifford has said it would not be in the interest of his political career", said Marshall.

Was Gary Cliffords actions in response to his strong civic pride or was it in response to FEAR?
Fear of losing an election bid since there was mounting pressure on him and the other council members for their arrogance they were displaying in City Council Chambers each and every time they spoke or were asked questions in response to rulings and judgments they handed down from their pulpit?
there defiance to the publics questions only Inflamed the long running feeling being spread through out Glendora, California that these council people had set up a City State and were not going to be held accountable to anyone or anything that was said or shown as proof of their misdirections in their actions.
So on that faithful night of the two girls arrest Gary saw a golden opportunity to vindicate himself and others on the council especially his retread running mates of "ALL" there misdeeds and missteps while serving for the first four years on the council.
Even if he had to tell a "little' lie it was for himself,Ken and Douglas and last but not least it was for the "good of Glendora?"
In retrospect it was "NOT good" for anyone especially Gary and Glendora, California - Ken and Douglas soon will to regret Cliffords and their actions on that faithful night also.

Which police report the one Gary Clifford signed or the one he didn't sign?
One is and one is not correct?
With Gary forgetting to sign such an important document, what else has he forgotten to sign while he was Mayor and Council man in Glendora, California?
Anyone Can Be...-- I think I read it in the police report (but I'll admit that I am not 100% on this).
TBD on May 10, 2008.
Never has this forum been so lively and quit nice to post in even though glendora's golden boy is under heavy pressure to do the right thing.
Would that be, to take the rap? Or pay the fine - in the millions?
Or fight it to the bitter end? Either way who's paying the legal bill? Art, Doug, Ken, Gordon and of course last but not least THE CITY OF GLENDORA, CALIFORNIA?

Who is Mark Gullick
Anonymous Proxy
|
Why is Mark Gullick (AKA Big Bib)using the name Mark Smith. In the complaints he filed in 2003-2004 he was Mark Gullick.
Now he goes by the name of Mark Smith and claims to be a Native Indian. Looks like some type of FRAUD may be going on...

But why would the State of California issue him a drivers license and allow him to carry a loaded weapon?

Good news for some of you lucky Glendora, California residents.
A Special City Council Meeting will take place.
Thursday May 15, 2008 at 8:00 A.M. at the Teen Center.
214 W. Dawson, Glendora, 91470.
Across the street from "Golf Course and Driving Range" (this note is for Tess, since he didn't know there was a golf couse in the 91740 area code, and had to be corrected by Clifford at the last meeting that was held here)
1.) Discuss with L.A. County Supervisor Micheal Antonovich on matters of mutual interest between the City of Glendora, California and the County of L.A.
I bet Micheal A. is coming here to pick upo the CHECK for the full amount the City of Glendora owes the County of L.A. after they lost the Lawsuit, M 82091.
Or Micheal is going to ask G.M.C. to step down from the council since he is in so deep over this up coming LAWSUIT?
Take you pick it should be a good old political *dog an pony show* for the few people who can afford to take off from work to watch. P.S. since this will be held at the TEEN CENTER it will not be shown live, rather if they choose it will be edited and polished up as to keep everyone in the best camera angle and spot light?

A correction to this post the logo on the side of these trash containers for the Glendora Farmers Market held every Thursday on Glendora Ave. across the street from City Hall.
What happened to our council's assurances that this company Athens thrash was a solid company? and would not be bought out by another trash hauling competitor?
But there is something odd this time, instead of all the trash containers (cardboard) and stenciled with Athens Trash, there a new logo in town tonight WASTE MANAGEMENT what happened to that exclusive (sweet heart) contract Athens had for "ALL" trash pick up in Glendora, California?
One theory is that Athens Trash has been bought lock stock and barrel by Waste Management Co.

RV owners are selling while others are storing else where an even a narrower group are sick and tired of Glendora all together, so they are planing to sell and move elsewhere and take their money and RV to a community that wants both.
Remember the drop dead date is Oct. 11, 2008 and a word to the wise Code Enforcement has been driving around and taking notes and making a list to check twice before they pounce on "all" the offenders or out of compliance with this new Ord.

Could lose funding? They got their hands and backside blistered pretty good in Superior Court!
The bad blood between L.AA. County and the city of Glendora, that when a county Supervisor came for a City Council Special Meeting at the Dawson Teen Center Thursday 05.15.2008 at 8:00 am.
Douglas "F" Tessitor and Gary "M" Clifford didn't even bother to show up! How do you like that for being told "don't bother showing up because your not wanted?"
The reason might be the bad blood is still a little wet, thats been spattered on the ceiling an walls from the last blistering the County Supervisor gave those two "bad boys."

What the Judge Said
|
What the Judge had to say about the Clifford/Marshall LAW SUITE
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Terry Green said that, from his perspective, the lawsuit involves "small town politics" and "a campaign prank" and "should never go before a jury".
"For people on the sidelines it really looks silly," Green said. "This is a campaign prank. I just don't see a jury getting worked up about this."
"I think you ought to go out there and have a block party and shake hands," said Judge Green.
Virgina Marshall, Keleigh's mother, said Friday that she was "not bothered by the judge's comments about the case being silly, as her daughter's side is very interested in ending the case". "We have wanted to settle this for a long time..."

When you have someone that doesn't handle the truth well then they have to repost until they are blue in the face.
"We have wanted to settle this for a long time and Mr. Clifford has said it would not be in the interest of his political career," said Marshall.
Whats left of Gary M. Cliffords political career, he flushed that down the toilet just like his buddies who helped him attack the two girls in Glendora, CA.
