Stupid is as stupid does..... My goodness! With adults like you people.... What chance do our kids have? THE FIRST LEADER (S) OF A CHILD'S LIFE IS/ARE THE PARENT(S)! But many of you want TEACHERS not only to TEACH- but do YOUR JOB AS WELL- and parent! If parents did their job at home- things would go smoothly at school--- and teachers wouldn't leave the profession.....the money is definitely not worth it!

Our kids can't go to high school the ac is not working, not even the employees there can stand it. All high school employees are working out of the primary. I think that is crazy. School needs to fix ac, buy window units or cancel school till things are repaired. I know for sure kids are not gonna want to stay if it is hot in there.

Like I said how pathetic is it that our new school still has no ac! If the school and the school freakin board could not come take care of the problem during the summer how the hell r they going to take care of it now! Isn't the school in duval county, why don't they use the illegal taxes they charged the gameroom and put it towards our kids education! Use that money to help fix the ac once and for all! How can we send our children to school in this heat, its just pathetic on the sdisd as a whole!

The school district has known well over 2 years about the problem. It should have been fixed by now! It's not as if we live in a 3rd world country and get afford to fix the damn A/C. Im sure there's some kind of emergency loans the school could get to ensure that our students have a comfortable environment to study in. This is a NO Brainer School Board!! Fix the Damn A/C and move on!

what you should all be concerned with is making sure our schools dont get shut down because students arent meeting the academic requirements. teachers need to concentrate on teaching and not worry about gossip. forget sports! because seriously, now many of our athletes are going to make a career out of a sport. yes sports can lead to scholarships but if the school looses its accreditation, there will be no scholarships to be had!!! typical of a small town!!! yeah my son plays football...yeah football stars. we have had so many professional football players come out of SD.

Sounds like everyone has a role to play here. Students, parents, teachers, community, etc. We need to turn this ship around for our kids future; as well as for ours because the students are the "future".

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Taurus

The sad fact is that a certain person isn't making much sense right now. They seem to be talking nonsense, or maybe they've got the wrong end of the stick but are hanging on to it for grim death and refuse to let you correct them. Mind you, there's also the possibility that you're the one who has got themselves in a muddle but doesn't realize it. Scary!
