Incredibly annoying "Booming" sounds like bombs going off- I endured this all morning and afternoon today 9-29-2011 in Laguna Niguel at the Seaside Apartments. This noise pollution is coming all the way from Camp Pendleton? God Damn this crap is annoying.Why is Camp Pendleton suddenly doing bomb testing? I have been here five years and this is the first time I have heard these rumblings.
It started last week and continues on up until tonight.
Anyone heard of ELF technology? Bomb test indeed.

I also live in Laguna Niguel and I hear these noises all the time. My husband says they are Camp Pendleton but I just dont see how thats true. Just tonight I heard it. It was so loud it shook our house. We moved from Indiana in March and I have heard these noises ever since we got here. Could it really be Camp Pendleton this far away? 42

A loud noise woke up me and my wife this morning at 2 am. It wasn't the typical boom. Sounded more like a crash. We heard airings soon after. Anyone else hear this? Were in Laguna Niguel.

I am in San Clemente and am hearing a lot of loud booms right now. It sounds like the munitions practice at Camp Pendleton. But that is usually just during the day.

I live in Hacienda Heights (San Gabriel Valley) every so often when I can't sleep, i either hear a clacking noise like 2 pipes being hit or last night it was as if someone was dragging a table across the floor. This was happening around 12:15 a.m. Others have heard it also!

its disneyland fireworks. . . like clockwork every night you can hear the rumble. . . sometimes pendleton does live fire as well that can be heard

yep, just about every night, sometimes it goes on for hours, one loud rumble after another, shakes the house. Its NOT disneyland. It is southwest of me in Laguna Woods. Must be pendleton.

Try living in Oakland, all you can here all day and night is Black shooting other Blacks and Mexicans. You can go anywhere in Oakland and you'll hear it.

I live in Laguna Niguel. I hear these all the time at night. Even while I am watching TV, I can hear the loud rumbling and explosion noises. I also assumed it was Camp Pendleton but I spoke with someone over the weekend who lives about 10 mins from the base and he said he hasn't heard a thing????
