"He said he expects support for much greater restrictions after the July 20 shooting in suburban Denver that killed 12 and injured 58."

"It reminded all of us how dangerous the assault weapons are," Yee said. "There's an opportunity now to plug up that hole, and I want to take advantage of that."

How nice of Mr. Yee to show us how those willing to infringe on the rights of the people just can't wait for a tragedy to occur to further their own agenda.

Do you mean that dangerous assault weapon that jammed and was worthless? Why ban those? They jam. I would think they would want killers to carry guns that have a long history of jamming and firing a varmint round instead of a bigger more effective caliber.

The point is of those blood thirsty politicians waiting for an incident to occurr so they can dance in the blood of the innocent and tell us they know better and will make us safer with more infringements of our individual rights.

Here we have a politician saying exactly that.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aries

You're idealistic and impressionable today, and want to see the best in everyone. Look straight past their faults, pretending they aren't there; concentrate on their good points instead. If a new relationship gets off the ground now it will always be characterized by an aura of romance and fantasy, and a slightly otherworldly quality.
