The only thing he cares about is his political agenda and his legacy. He doesn't care about the kids - he hardly ever steps foot on the Phoenix Centers. Has anyone checked out the Center at Pacific and Arden? It looks like a City dump not somewhere you want your kids to play. If that is the case why is it that his boy, Fred, is doing the budget and allocating nothing to the centers? All he has to do is make a deal with Brinker that his people (Esther, Dennis, and Rikke) will vote for the librarymobile and then he can get his funding. It's easier for him to be the victim - "they won't fund it", "I have to do it on the cheap". Yeah, whatever Pat.
