Kids lose in Operation Phoenix mess

The only white hats I've seen bobbing "tempest-tost" on the stormy seas of Operation Phoenix are worn by the kids - and that's very sad.

Thank You so much, because you are so right. Everyone(not me) has forgotten about the kids and most have their own agenda and this incident just added fire to the flames. The mayor not only cares about kids, he cares about PEOPLE in general, yes he has his faults but maybe if people would work with him and not against him they could make the city a much better place for all of us.

Wow, you actually believe that load of BS that Pat is spewing? I have had him personally tell me how shocked he is to hear about something and how sorry he is to hear it, only to learn later from people involved with him that he knew everything and was blowing sunshine up my A**.
The only thing he cares about is his political agenda and his legacy. He doesn't care about the kids - he hardly ever steps foot on the Phoenix Centers. Has anyone checked out the Center at Pacific and Arden? It looks like a City dump not somewhere you want your kids to play. Oh, I know, the big, bad City Council is stopping him from helping the poor and downtrodden. If that is the case why is it that his boy, Fred, is doing the budget and allocating nothing to the centers? All he has to do is make a deal with Brinker that his people (Esther, Dennis, and Rikke) will vote for the librarymobile and then he can get his funding. It's easier for him to be the victim - "they won't fund it", "I have to do it on the cheap". Yeah, whatever Pat.

and I did work for him and all I got was grief. He doesn't support people working for him. He uses them. When you try to bring something that is wrong in his precious Operation Phoenix he ignores you, then later says "why didn't you tell me" with that false astonished look on his face.
Fred lied to the DA, Glenn couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper sack, Jim is a pompus ***, and Pat is leading the citizens of this city down the primrose path. You go Mayor!

If the TOP HATS of the City were working TOGETHER and not POINTING FINGERS and SPEWING LIES, er, um, I mean MISSPEAKING then the wheels and gears would be in tune and on the right path.

Right now San Bernardino is being lead over a Cheese Grater!
