Ruben C. Tejeda is who I will vote for. A proven dedicated public servant who works for all. His concern for the schools and children is well known throughout the southside and his yearly pizza party honoring all school crossing guards and the kids is to be admired. He is what all public servants should be. "DEDICATED TO SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY". And that's a fact.

You better do what he tells you to do or he will put you in "time out" in the hallway. Just ask Alex...

the only way the constables office will ever become a proffessional l.e. agency will by electing an educated, concerned, and well trained individual. these quals can only be found in one of the candidates, thats why im casting my vote for OMAR REYES!!!!!

@ concerned citizen, i agree with you. im tired of my money being wasted in the personal quarrels of tejeda and caballero. something is definately wrong there. i think bexar county should put their foot down on pct.1. THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW!!!

I've heard Reyes has no common sense and is just a whiner and a complainer and would get rid of all the reserve deputies that volunteer to serve the community, and does not believe that the constables should be doing any law enforcement work. Sounds like another do nothing Charlie Campos. And Quintanilla would be no better than Reyes. I heard they go and campaign together with Cabellero. Who, by the way lost her license to practice law.

Unfortunately, I believe in this race non of the listed candidates can bring anything to better the office. In fact, I strongly believe they will hinder the office from any progress. I urge the citizens of Pct 1 to motivate a qualified individual to seek the office. Say No! to all the above.

"Concerned Citizen" nobody cares about what you people in Houston think! You have enough problems with your own elected officials in Harris County, the "SLUM" of Texas. Clean up your own problems. Then come talk!

All the education in the world doesn't mean anything if you don't have any common sense. Reyes doesn't have the latter!

I vote Ruben all the way! He has done so much for our community that I hope he stays in office for many more terms. I think he should run for commissioner. My kids have gotten two bikes from his pizza parties. He always go by the schools and takes care of our older citizens. Not too many elected officials like him that care for us. Thank you Ruben!

Southsiders are brain washed ! It's time for newly elected officials who are willing to stand up to commissioners . Ruben is no different than Blount and Flores, they play it safe for commissioners. However, Ruben just hides it better by the use of the Rodriguez vs Tejeda. We need mavericks who will run the department according to want people want.

Sure just give away a few bikes for the kid's and free beer with tamales for the parents. Your set at election time. What a deal!

You need to look & understand the power of the county judge & commissioners, they have the say so when it comes to approve or disapprove an item on an agenda. There the ones that can call the shots on the budget,if any department in Bexar County bumps heads with the commissioners, all they half to do is cut the budget on the department & they half to lay off. There the ones that can cut the check.

Ruben Tejeda has had his rough times with commissioners. But he has always been for the people and takes a stand for what he believes and has always been dedicated to serving the people. Ruben is by far the best person for the job.

That's right about Ruben, he's into the community, the other candidates are in it for power hungary & the other is pissed off cause Ruben put him in time out in the hallway and parking lot.
