How long are we going to pay tribute to Selena?

i think that as long as there are fans of Selena, then we will continue to remember her! no one really cares about the other people! It's sort of sad that there seems to be only one south Texan at a time that gets to play the national stage. Is Eva Longoria all we have to offer? I have seen thousands of beautiful women in Texas that the easily pass her? We need to organize the community and try to encourage some losers to apply for the TV show survivor.

The difference is....Selena was beautiful, sweet and talented, but she WAS MURDERED...
that's where her story becomes so tragic. It's like a James Dean fascination of what could
have been, or should have been.

OMG, if people stop remembering Selena, what exactly will Corpus Christi offer? It is one of the most annoying cities in the world I have ever visited otherwise. Seriously, when Selena died, you guys had your biggest ambassador die too. Remembering her is the best thing you can do for your economy. I would be over by her statue buffing her shoes if I were you. Getting rid of Selena would be for Corpus Christi like Hawaii getting rid of its beaches.
