Orale, ese! That was a kick en los huevos, ese. But you know, homes, your are mucho correcto! La Raza talks shit but they don’t come through when it counts. Instead of supporting a home boy, they stab him in the back, like that joke about White and Mexican crabs:“A fisherman had two bucket of crabs. In one bucket, the crabs were crawling over the rim and escaping. In the other bucket, a crab would make it to the top, only to be pulled back by another crab. The fisherman explained that the first bucket were White crabs. They helped each other. The second bucket was Mexican crabs, and they were so jealous of the one who succeeded, that the pulled him back into the bucket. That la raza for you! They will pull the Democrat candidate back through their in fighting in this forum. Since Santa Anna’s days, we have not learned caca!

Once way to find out if a candidate will win thier election is to see who they have in thier inner circle. For example, the Andy Lopez campaign, he has his wife as a 'campaign manager' and his son-in-law as another 'campaign manager'. One of the rules of politics is you don't have your spouse and close relatives in your inner circle. This campaign was doomed since day one.

Andy Lopez will win the election. That way we don't have to look at Ricketts election signs with his constipated look trying to squeeze out a loaf!

After doing some research I find that Mr. Ricketts has lied to all of us at the detention center. He gathers a few officers at a time and tells them the same story. He claims to have over 20 years of law enforcement. He only worked full time as a jailer and most of the time as a perimeter guard working the parking lot. He lied to us about being a Captain in Pct 2. He was never a Captain. He was a reserve officer. He claims to attend all the meetings at commissioners court that pertains to the Sheriff's Dept. He has only shown up recently now that it's election time. He runs for Sheriff every 4 years both as a republican and a democrat and loses on both sides. He has ex chief Fernandez following him around everywhere he go's only because Fernandez wants his chief's job back that Ortiz fired him from. He has Sgt. Menchaca trying to get all the detention officers behind him. Menchaca thinks he will be assigned as a chief. Ricketts will promise everyone the positions they want just to get in office. I myself working at the detention center and after catching Ricketts in his lies of being a 20 year law enforcement veteran and being a captain I will talk to all the officers possible and tell them the truth about not Mr Larry Ricketts but about Mr. Lying Ricketts.Don't care who wins Mr Ricketts needs to know that the majority of the department is not behind him as he tells everyone.

I've read your comments and accusations against Ricketts many times and have no way of determining who is telling the truth, you or Ricketts. Years ago when I was much younger, an old and wise mentor told me that if I was so frustrated with the system, that instead of bitching about, I had a duty to myself and the organization to either resign and find employment elsewhere, or work to make positive changes from within. What I’m saying to you is that your bitching about Ricketts is getting old. If you fear him so much, enter the race and run against him, or resign from your detention job, or if Ricketts win, try working from within to make positive changes. You owe this to yourself, the Sheriff's Department and to the citizens of Bexar County. Ya basta!

Viejo Y Veterano. I've been around Rickets little gatherings with the deputies. And I agree with detention. Rickets is a liar and if we're going to have a liar for a sheriff then lets keep what we got now. I'll go one step further to your comment "Ya Basta". Understood Ya MFing Basta.

Man up and grow a pair of nuts instead of acting like a Westside Tamale Maker...All you do is bitch and whine. When Larry gets elected maybe he will promote you to Perimeter Guard to watch over the parking lot. He might even give you is personal set of dominoes...

How many times in the past two years, have we read news headlines of Detention Officers committing crime at the jail or off duty? At least 12 that I know of. That’s one screw up every two months! The public is tired of this crap! Regardless of who is Sheriff, the Detention Division needs close scrutiny and shakeup. Instead of worrying about losing your job, take charge and make a difference! Grow a pair! “If you are NOT part of the solution, you are part of the problem.”

Okay. I'll stop talking about Ricketts. He's not gonna win anyway. But can anybody answer me why the word around here is why is Gabehardt and Dovalina so concerned that Lopez will win the race?

I enjoy going there to have pipe laid in my hole. Have to work on my gag reflexes. Where else can you have sex all day with other hot men for $10?

But can anybody answer me why the word around here is why is Gabehardt and Dovalina so concerned that Lopez will win the race? Good for you, Detention! Remember Don Corleone in Godfather # I?” His advice to Sonny was “Never let your enemies know what you are thinking.” By posting anti-comments against the candidates, you are letting them know what you are thinking and feeling. They can exploit this weakness later. I suggest that you focus your energy into making positive changes BEFORE the election. You know the problems in Detention (so does anyone who reads the newspaper). Try changing those negative perceptions by focusing on the good things that you guys do. How ‘bout community service? Raising funds for Toys for Tots, families of officers killed/injured in the line of duty? Get involved in the union, run for office. When the new Sheriff comes in, he/she will be able to say,“Detention has problems; however, Deputy Joe Blow has his/her crap together, so I’ll keep him/her. As to your question as to why those two unqualified individuals you mention got promoted? Easy,…No one gives a crap. This is how it has always been done and will continue unless you support a candidate who has the balls to stop this “Compadreismo” system in which compadres, relative and butt kissers get promoted. I know of one candidates who has gone on record to do away with this system. This canidate will promote on merit, rather on whom they know or who they blow. Keep your head up homey! You’re a winner. Don’t let the losers take you down with them. Their days are limited!

You bet your booty Lopez will close down Twin Theatres. If thats the reason Gabehardt and Dovalina don't want him to win the election.Worked with him over 30 years in the Sheriff's Office he knows what to do and how to do it. All the oldtimers who made a call with him knew that if the words " Look Patner" came out of his mouth before hadcuffing someone arguing with him that he was going to put in jail we all took a step backwards cause we knew that left hand was coming accross. My vote go's to where every vote should go to. 40 year veteran Andy Lopez.

ANOTHER BCSO SCREW-UP. CLEAN OUT THE RATS NEST IN NOVEMBER 2012! TODAY'S EXPRESS-NEWS Authorities are searching for a Bexar County inmate who left a county correctional facility without permission Monday afternoon. Christopher Lopez, 26, left the facility in the 10900 block of Applewhite Road, which holds probationers undergoing court-ordered rehabilitation for substance abuse or mentally impaired inmates, said Louis Antu, a sheriff's department spokesman. Lopez, who entered the facility last week on a drug charge, discarded his jail uniform and officers were using a helicopter to search, Antu said. “He had an orange jumpsuit and probably thought it would be an eye-catch for authorities,” he said. A judge is expected to issue a warrant for his arrest for violating probation, which would land him at the Bexar County Jail.
