The owner and management at this place appear to have no understanding at all of customer service. I don't expect a lot from a paintball range, but I do expect to be treated with human courtesy and these guys did not do that. When I asked the owner a simple question, his rude and taunting answer reminded me of the bullies on my elementary school playground. Maybe the customer is not always right, but so long as the customer is being polite, the manager should be too!
There are other paintball ranges in San Antonio, go there instead.

Whats the matter, got your little feelings hurt? Whaaa! Get a life! If you can't handle critisism, then you have no business playing pretend war games since your so timid about real weapons...

This field is the best field I have ever played at, and I have played all over the midwest and southwest. The fields were well-developed and the almost all players followed all the safety and game rules. I appreciate the field's safety breifings that they do very often throughout the day (most parks just don't care that much!)
Its losts of fun and probly best for the money for any where close to that area.
All I can say is I love this field, i've been coming here for nearly a year and it's always great. they have awesome fields, great prices, and alot of good players go there, so it's always exciting. they are very strict when it comes to saftey and the F bomb, but it's for the best, and as long as you follow the rules, you will have a good time.

I was impressed by their hospitality. Even the owner came out talked to us and recognized me from the shop.
We had a group of about 40. Everything played was straight knockout or last man standing with time actually called once (partly due to no one moving and was getting too dark on the field not lit up, so GREAT call for safety reasons).
I also liked the fact that they mentioned they were trying something new with one of the fields. Excellent quality to always be looking to improve which tells me this place is only going to get better.

One improvement might be to do capture the flag or have certain objectives to accomplish to give different games feels. A woodsball field in the future might be an added bonus as well for the die hard that isn't willing to try something new. The city is pretty good and a good alternative for the guys that love the woodsball. I think if it were my field, I might try taking a few obstacles out opening up the field a little more to give more action. It may or may not work but just a thought. Also being a city, it might be cool to have an open trail/road down through the middle to give a little more challenge to cross over to "enemy" territory, once again, just a thought.

Overall, great experience and a great place with awesome staff and owners. I will definitely be headed back out to play again and several of our group are wanting to return as well.

I think this is a great place to shoot paint ball. I have never had a problem there and the staff are very professional. Their not like the Park Police AKA Park Rangers who walk around with a deer in the headlights look. These guys are about as bright as a 6 watt light bulb in a bucket of squirrel crap!

Safety fantastic,Fields pretty good not many big ones though, prices very reasonable, rules good, services quite good
proshop good gave alot of players help, staff fantastic
refs extremely good and fair
facilities great's I've played all over the U.S.
food ok or bring your own lunch.

They also have a military discount $10.00 gets you the equipment and 100 paintballs or $25 for equipment and 500 paintballs. You will have to show your I.D.

Overall it was a very fun time. probably the best I've had. More for rec players however. However it was a fun time. Surrender rule took awhile but I did like it. They had a rule that you can't get closer than 20 feet away. So no one really got hurt which was nice. They had a guy taking photos so after you can view your photos online which is cool. Overall great staff and proshop many markers and up grades. Rest of it FANTASTIC!

Before I begin, this is a field geared for families and rec ballers, so they do have rules and they actually enforce them. If you are a tourney player who wants to ramp and forgot a long time ago how to follow the rules then go somewhere else.

The rules are there for your protection, and like I said before, they enforce them. If you break the rules you get kicked out, it's that simple. Their main rules are your goggles and their "20 foot rule". Every field has and enforces rules on goggles, so if you take them off, you will be thrown out of any field that wants to keep their insurance and stay open. The "20 foot rule" is a rule that states you must stay at least 20 feet away from the opposing players. This helps to prevent people from being mowed down at point blank range. So, if you want to play at a field where you feel safe and aren't worried about the guys shooting their guns in the staging area and being dumb on the fields, head out to KP.

Staff is great and very friendly. It is true that they can get attitudes with problem customers, but I have never seen them start a problem. If you get thrown out and want to complain and throw a hissy fit, you aren't going to get the nice staff that the rest of us get when we do the right thing.

The Proshop is well stocked and the staff knows what they are doing. They are very good at helping people fix their problems with guns, hoppers, etc. Prices are very reasonable for what you get, and there is paint for anyone, despite the speed of their gun or size of their wallet. The staff have been a part of paintball for a very long time, and have a lot of experience with all kind of gear and products.

They also do private parties which is a lot of fun. You can schedule them with the office and have your own refs and get to play with your own teams. As long as you have the required 10 people there aren't problems. Again, this is an area where people who can't follow the rules have some trouble and end up arguing with the staff. The prices and people limits are set for a reason, so don't try to argue about them.

The refs are very willing to help the customers on and off the field, and will answer any question to the best of their abilities. They are fair on the field, and will readily check anyone you ask them to. Don't see the favoritism I have seen at other fields, and the ref's friends don't get special treatment. Yes, most of the refs are young, but they are well trained and very passionate about the sport. If you feel uncomfortable taking small orders from people younger than you, you are welcome to try and find a field that employs older refs, but from my experience you won' find them in Texas.

About the fields, there are eleven or twelve of them and they are all really nice. They range in sizes, some smaller than regulation and some that you can't shoot across off the break. The staff picks fields based on the number of players playing, so you don't end up with too many people on the fields. Teams are split by the refs before each game, so teams constantly change and are even most of the time. The staff knows how to split, and does not stack teams on one side's favor.

Overall the field is a great place to play, so if you want to have fun and not have to worry about people being unsafe head out to Krossfire. If you are a tourney player who plays by your own rules and wants to either blow away rec ballers or find other tourney players Knights or Maximum are great options. Before you head out to any field, read their rules and make sure that you understand and can obey them. If you can't, find another sport to play.

NOTE: I've posted this review at a few different spots around the internet because I passionately hate this place. In my travels, I have noticed that the owner and management is HEAVILY TROLLING all of the review sites. It makes it hard to get a real feel for sleazyness of the place because of all the false glowing reviews. Don't trust them.
The service at this place is exactly what you might expect from management that doesn't know how to spell "Crossfire". Maybe they were being cute- but after meeting them today, I think not. The owner was a self-righteous punk who could not be reasoned with, and his staff were brazen and rude. Simple requests and questions were lost on the staff and we were forced to leave to place all together. If there is a customer service hell on this Earth, it is Krossfire Paintball. Just down the road on Highway 87 is a GREAT paintball place called Green Acres. Do yourself a favor- save some money and headache and go there instead.

You sound like a real hater of the orderly running of a fine establishment like Krossfire Paintball. Good riddence to you I say, we don't need your SCOFFLAW ways in this outstanding business. Its idiots like you that make unsafe places for others who follow the rules and want to have a good time.

What a wonderful place to play paintball. The staff is great. There are tons of fields and the prices are really good. Each memeber of the staff is helpful and they run a great place. Can't wait to go back. They even gave me a free t-shirt for my birthday.

You've practically outed yourself as an employee in your previous two posts. All of the positive reviews for this place come from the place itself. How lame.

Why don’t you post smoothing worth reading, you post NOTHING.
What happen? Why do you fell this way? Can you tell us your story about this place?
O wait! You probably can’t because you were ask to leave for breaking the rules and then using the F-BOMB in front of the Parents and 10-year-old kids at the park.
Wow I love these PEOPLE (I think you call them people) who come on the reviews and way NOTHING.

Comment below dated June 14th was bogus at best. I was there sitting at the table next to rude Lady and her fiancee and small group. If anybody was out of line it was them. The owners actually handled the rude couple and there less then 10 people group extremely well until the group got so rude and overly loud they had to ask them to leave. I was glad because they were disrupting everybody enjoyment out at Crossfire. i am a Regional Manager of a very large corporation. I know what customer service is all about and Crossfire definately is a first class Paintball Operation.
