These two CNN "journalists" have in the last few years relentlessly criticized Mexican people, for their "illegally invading our porous border, bringing crime, disease, drugs and overly cheap labor to our country, stealing social services and jobs from our people".

They have displayed in their shows videos of Mexican people crossing the U.S. border illegally, and then they have made it appear as if everybody in Mexico is like those kinds of people (jobless, uneducated, crime-oriented, useless, penniless, etc.).

Thanks to people like those two, many extremist groups like the Ku Klux Klan and Neo-Nazis in the U.S. have re-emerged into the race-hatred scene, and they are justifying their destructive and hateful agenda by saying that "well respected journalists" support their views.

I'd like to know the people's opinion about those mentioned journalists, Are they for real? Or, Do they do their full of hate ranting, just for the ratings and becoming personally wealthy?

In case you don't know, LOU DOBBS'S WIFE IS MEXICAN AMERICAN! Many Mexicans are already saying she's a traitor to her original country, for staying married to such a Mexican hate-monger, and also, many extremist Americans (skinheads, etc.), consider Dobbs a hypocrite for putting down Mexicans so much, yet being married to one.

In my personal opinion, those two so called journalists are destroying CNN's credibility, because the competition (Fox news) already has a very complete team of hate-mongers of all kinds: anti-Mexican, anti-Black, anti-Chinese, anti-Jew, anti-Women, you name it, and this is because as everybody knows, Fox news is an extension of the Republican Party, a right-extremist "news channel" seen mostly by right-wingers with no tolerance at all.

Should CNN let Dobbs and Beck go, or at least force them to restrain their all-out anti-Mexican ranting and start acting like the real and unbiased CNN's journalists do, such as Anderson Cooper or Wolf Blitzer?

Dobbs and Beck aren't portraying anything cnn doesn't want them to. It is obviously cnn's agenda to not alienate the right wingers so as to not drop in their ratings. It doesn't say much for Dobbs and Beck that they'll sell their credibility as journalists for a certain sum.

One has to try looking over the edge of one's plate to see the whole picture. The u.s. media is used to manipulate and control the people's minds.

If one recapitulates all of the events in history leading up to political unrest or major changes in politics (domestic and international), the media in the u.s. has always played a major role in setting the stage for projecting a concept of "the enemy" in advance.

In doing so the military industrial complex's survival is guaranteed once a war (declared or not)is brought to a halt in one part of the world the intrigues can commence elsewhere, as the stage has already been set and the peoples minds have been primed to send their children off as cannon fodder again.

It's time for us to start deporting the illegals from our nation. Let the arrogant Mexican government take care of them.

I am sick and tired of paying for the healthcare and education of these people.

Illegal means Against the Law. Deport them, pronto.

You are right to certain extent:
No rich person in Mexico wants to clean tiolets in the United States. I agree there however the Mexicans coming in here feel that they deserve to be here. Why don't you educated them and tell them that this is North American with different laws then Mexico. An most all of us pay taxes. We the Middle Class People pay the Illegal: Health,Food, Education etc. What is the world is wrong with these people? Do they assume that the Money comes form Heaven to support them? We the American people take care of all these people but basta No More. They have to pay their fair share of taxes just like us an balance these free loaders.

I watch CNN alot and your right Glen Beck does hate Illegal Mexicans....Being a right winger he some timess sounds like a Liberal complaining about the Bush administration and its failure to stop immigration. Anderson Cooper is a unbiased show your right. Any way in San Antonio alot of the Hispanics have always thought they were white...so when the immigration started it got real heated in my class becuase the Mexicans finally saw the light. I was sitting back the whole time smiling. In san Antonio the Talk Shows are all Right Wing stuff...The black owned station was closed but it wasnt mentioned to the public. When Barack came to San Antonio nobody gave it attention,

Any way back to CNN they'll neve let Beck go becuase his Radical followeres give CNN ratings.

I moved to san antonio and quickly was educated as a 'gringo' and or 'anglo'. Hey i felt like i was back in the south where a 'good old boy' like me found to speak about escalating crime and racism made me an extremist though i never belonged to any groups. I got so sick of the crime and discrimination that i finally left. I now feel the same about san antonio. In other words to disagree with all your own 'canned' views makes me one of dobb's or becks's boys even though i might actually agree with some of yours and their views. It all seems rather polarized but also history is a good teacher about laws and offers good lessons for the future. In the mean time don't discriminate if you don't expect the same and don't expect one culture to play some sort of self serving game for another. Steve

The question is off center. The real question is: what is the impact of unrestricted immigration? On employment, the impact is the same as scab-labor - illegals work of less. Flood the country with illegals and its Xmas every day for all the greasy spoons in the country, not to mention construction projects which illegals now dominate. The cost on pubic schools, health care, city services in general is at the runaway level. I love Mexican people; they're hard-working and, for the most part, are decent folks. They're here for their families, but they're killing me in the pocket- book. We are way past the point of doing something about it - and I'm not sure I'll like what Washington, DC and the States will finally do.

Sorry but you are wrong. What they both are against is ILLEGAL's period. Well so am I. They have my full support. Plus no one has the right to come to our country and DEMAND anything.

The illegal alien that lives here gets a lot for free and the tax payers pay for it. Is doing the righ thing being a bigot or racist, NO! It is following the law. I don't believe any of the two journalist are racist, just using common sense. If it was Canadians crossing the border it would be the samething. The construction business pays very little in this area because illegals of all countries accept less then those that a legal would accept so wages get depressed. I am practical so I do believe we need to remedy the stituation. Give the illegal legal status, but only if they have never had any legal problems on a major scale. Deny them Citizenship since they broke the law. Fine each adult $1,000 and if they were to commit a felony like murder, jail them and strip them of thier "green card" and deport them to their country. Lastly, if their home country complains then the U.S. government should expose their immigration policies and request that our citizens get the same treatment they want their citizens to recieve here simple as that!

This thread begins with the views and opinions of to obviously well informed and educated people. Then along comes you posting the same old redundant and worn out argument that Ive found posted all over these types of forums over and over again. Do you think your views are something new and that your asinine opinion is some kind of new and improved eye opening revelation of some kind ? Please do not misunderstand me, you have a right to your opinion whether I agree with it or not, however believe me when I tell you that your argument is a scratched and worn out record. May I suggest cracking open a few books or easier yet research some new data from your computer.
