God save America if you ever get in control, you know all the mexican people can do is turn America into a third world shat hole just like what they have done to their beloved mother country-mexico. If your people were capable of building and keeping a nation like ours why didn't you lazy turds do it in mexico? As you well know , Mexico has always been a poor country which is run by bigots and the rich people who take advantage of the poor workers to get themselves richer while the poor get poorer . The poor have to do what it takes to survive and tragically , it take crossing the border to the north where they are despised for being here illegally . Although there are very good and caring people in the U.S. that see these illegals as hard workers , which they are , they do their best to help them make a living here in the U.S.. Sadly , there are people that see these illegals as a burden on our economy and using the U.S. government to cheat the taxpayers out of benefits that are for the legal population only . If given a chance , these people CAN contribute to THIS country and make a living amongst ourselves .

How? The illegals don't come here to contribute. They come here to make money, that is their only goal. They get here and find out they have to pay taxes, they go ahead and change their names. They are laughing at all of us that are here legally, working and contributing to the schools, jobs, buildings that they work in and send their kids to school. But thats all changing, They are doing back ground checks on the social security #'s and finding that they are made up. It is coming to an end.I like to give everybody a fair shake but do it legally and speak english.

Get over it you racist bynards, immigrants are coming your way to save the day. "Immigrants" who come here do not come because they love this country, they are here for what they can get. Their loyalties will ALWAYS lie with their country of origin and the guy who is a "successful businessman" who never bothered to learn English is the perfect example of those who have so little regard for the U.S.A. that they "flip off" our country be refusing to become a member of our society and learn to speak English. His type are the kind that are turning our country into a third world hellhole. I fail to see ANY "great contributions" by immigrants; the only thing they are contributing is an over-populated, third world country.

You can make all the demands you want, but at the end of the day these "criminals" will still be here working their asses off for their pennies in whatever profession they can. Making demands for aliens to learn ENGLISH will get you nowhere. Can you tell me what the official language of the United States is? Can you? Take a guess, it's not English...there is NO OFFICIAL LANGUAGE. Now, as a sworn protector of the US, I take that as a right to speak Martian if I wanted to. It won't get me anywhere, but if that was my choice, so be it. You know, I really think that this whole "illegal alien" thing, learn English thing, put up a fence thing is really all about "threat". Not a terrorist threat, but many White Americans feel threatened feel threatened by the change the Latin community is bringing to America. Why else is this such an important issue now? Why in 2007? You see how fast the Latin population is growing lately? Hmmm. More and more people are complaining about the fact that they have to hear "Oprima el asterisco para continuar en Espanol" or something similar on the phone. I say wake up and look around you. The world changes people. Why was everything ok in the 1950's when there were "Whites Only" signs in public? Fast-forward to 2007 when America is starting to resemble a shade of brown and what do you have? You have the current talk of fence this, deport that, criminal you. F-that. I'll leave with one more thought for you. You're shouting from Dallas Texas, eh? Aren't there all kinds of Mexicans there? Kind of supports my "Threat Theory". Why don't you see yourself to Oak Cliff and say this stuff. I'll stop now, before I get off on another tangent. Well said!!!

I feel sorry for you poor , miserable people that keep griping about the illegals getting away with this-n-that and blaming them for turning this beautiful country into a third world hell-hole according to you . You say that you can't see any "great contributions" BY IMMIGRANTS , and all the time this country IS MADE UP OF IMMIGRANTS ! As I stated before , speaking in english does NOT make you a better person or a "contributor" to make the U.S. a better place , because the attitude that you are displaying for the immigrants is NOT suitable for a citizen of this great country . Hatred should have been abolished along with slavery a long time ago . Poor Abe must be turning over in his grave.........

Slavery is a whole other subject. The slaves were brought here again'st their will and used for hard labor, and got paid nothing. Abe spoke English by the way. He didn't fight for bilingual schools, businesses, road signs, bill boards or translate the Constitution to spanish or any other language. He fought for the people that were citizens of this United States and equality for the Citizens that were residing in the United States. The immigrants back then strived to learn english and they did. Because they were smart enough to know that without english they would not be able to communicate to work and progress. You are right, immigrants made this Country but the United States Government has thrown the towel in and has been to accommidating to the illegals. There are neighborhoods when I think I'm in another Country. The Stop signs, advertising and even Government offices are in different languages other than english. We have a right to be a little upset. We have put our kids through school, paid our taxes and worked just as hard as the next person. Yet the illegals keep reaping the rewards and don't even know that those rewards are costing us,the tax payers more and more each year. Enough Said....

I swear, all you people complaining about people speaking Spanish should be THANKFUL that we fricking won WWII! Wonder how y'all would be complaining if we all had to speak German. Also, be thankful that this country ALLOWS you to speak English. No where is it the official language as I've said before.

And that leads to each of your poster names patting each other on the back. That is all multiple identies are good for.

I have fun posting on a high school football thread with another name and boy does that look stupid when I forget to change the name. You just see so many people anymore posting under three or four names and they all agree with each other. Thanks for the reply I understand now.

I agree that if you live in America you should make the effort to learn English. If a parent makes the effort it will encourage the children to also learn. Spanish is my second language. I prefer to speak English. The people I have met from Mexico assume that if you look hispanic you should speak spanish. We were criticized when we spoke spanish in Mexico because our spanish was weak. I learned my spanish from my grandparents who also spoke English. I remember when we were not allowed to speak spanish in school nor in the workplace. Its a fact, there were jobs lost to those that could not speak spanish. The language barrier is just part of the problem. If people are willing to speak the language here in the states maybe they will be willing to accept other traditions of this great country.
