I am looking into leasing an SUV. My current vehicle is a 2004 mitsubishi galant with almost 57000 miles and I still owe almost $24000. Purcharsed vehicle Dec. 2004 on 72 month contract at 15.95%. My credit is not that good and my payments are $641.00 a month. Would you be able to get me into something (XL7) where my payments are not that high.

Hi Nic,
As a finance director of over 25 years, I must say that if you are offering something as wonderful as getting financed with bad credit. Wouldn't be in your best interest to share with the public as to how this great deal will come about? People in today's society are far smarter than you give them credit for. Perhaps you should tell them the options they will have. If you have bad credit, certainly most reputible lenders wouldn't dream of assisting your client simply because of liability reasons. Then outside sub-prime lenders (Who most dealerships wouldn't consider because of the high fees) Then in-house financing would be the next obvious course of action, correct?
But please correct me if I am wrong, But doesn't most dealerships who offer this require a certain percentage or amount down to qualify?
If your dealership is offering something outside the norm, then please. I have a list of clients (Longer than the gold chain around your sales managers neck, who I would be happy to send to you.
But if your claim to fame is indeed any credit can get approved. It would be in your best interest to not waste peoples time and qualify them right over the phone and by that I mean ask the questions that matter the most instead of getting them in first then pissing them off when they have to find out they will need a down payment. People love honesty. They may not always buy, but you sure as hell will earn their respect. And take a few extra minutes to educate them as to why they will need the money. Don't go after their credit. They already know their credit stinks. Instead, tell them how the banks look at them. And what your services offer. Your clients will respect you as honest and even the ones who still can't buy will save and in the mean time, they will tell their friends about you.

Hello. I'm an individual who has been w/ Suzuki for several years now and I just happened to come across this site. I would like to state that Nic is no longer with us (obviously). I didn't really take much notice until I read the part of you having a list of customers that you would send us. I understand and agree w/ about 80% of everything that you spoke to Nic. To sum me up quickly I have been Nationally recognized for my achievements for outstanding sales as well as customer satisfaction stricktly because of the way I handle my customers. I'm not here to waste anyone's tome only to help them get intop good transportation that every other dealership told them no. I would love to talk to you more and I am curious as to what dealership you are at. We have a great referal program considering that is how I get 80% of my business as well. If you are interested then you can feel free to contact me at the place of business and just ask for the #1 saleslady!
Thanks-

You're an idiot....get a job. Buying a car without income is a bad idea. Unless your rich, but then you wouldn't be buying a suzuki, would you?

You may report on someones credit,(which we do, where do you get this information?)however you sell them 99' vehicles with 100k plus paying 400 a month and no warranty. There stuck in the same cycle of bad credit! We actually not only help people get into a good new car with a warranty, but because of our 2nd and 3rd chance financing, we help people to reestablish there credit. Its a good business, good car and we can see our customers rebuild to good credit! Marisa

Credit should also be used when it finances something that will allow you to create more income or you will get a higher percentage than on what you owe on your loan. All other loans are money down the toliet. Buy your car with cash!
