Ford is the next mayor? Not if I can help it!
Are you crying now ? |

OK, how about condemning Mozart Kauffman's buildings (Bubbas etc.) that are listed on I.J. stories as causing the stream backups?
Tear them down and put in a delightful park addition with street access. |

Somebody would have to pay kauffman for that...who do you suggest pony up fmv fir the lots, etc.

I've read Peter Breen's editorials. Good move getting rid of him

OMFG. Ford Greene is the next mayor? Holy Cow.
|

I have mixed emotions on this. I'm glad the incumbents are out but Kroot and Coleman?

Ford Greene becoming mayor puts a smile on my face. Even if he is bad at it he'll be better.

Finally, someone with some sense. How is that flood mitigation program working? I heard MMWD is looking for water. |
||||
Mozart Kauffman has passed away. |
||||
|
Congratulations. See you at Town Council.

Dem or Repub: ALL incumbents should be canned!!!
|
||||
Just pay him what the buildings are worth minus the seismic retrofits they need or charge him for all the flood damage that they have cost and subtract that from the money given him. |

Breen worked his tail off for our town and was good at what he does. It's a shame we're losing him. Looking forward to what McInerny will bring to the Council, but am concerned with Kroot & Coleman's agenda. It takes a good working relationship with others despite differences of opinion as well as the ability to respectfully acknowledge and consider all angles of an issue. We'll see how it goes...they really gotta up their game after personally witnessing questionable campaigning tactics and truthiness issues with these two.

Cause,
Charming provincial attitude! Sounds like sour grapes! I'm just saying... |
||||

Its heartwarming to know that small town politics is still going strong. Much ado about small potato ideas by small minded little people!

While it was included in the morning, the IJ has deleted Ford Greene's welcoming message to the new council members, which concluded the original article. The statement from Councilman Greene: "As San Anselmo's next mayor, I congratulate Tom McInerney, Kay Coleman and Jeff Kroot for their victories, welcome them to the Town Council and look forward to forging relationships that will help bring the best we can collectively offer to San Anselmo."
I leave it to the reader to speculate why the IJ decided to delete Greene's statement, which, again, was in the original version of this article. |

Kyle,
Thanks for pointing that out. I wonder if Greene asked them to remove it? Isn't he suing San Anselmo for the flood ordinance? Is it legal to be mayor and be suing the town? Somehow it seems....odd. I wonder how long his alliance with McInerny will last? I'll give it another month max. Let's grab a bowl of popcorn and watch it unfold... |

I must say that had the candidates Ford Greene backed won he would not be the next Mayor. That means his support was not based on him but his beliefs for the Town.
I respect that. Doug |

Expect more fines and taxes.
"McInerney received some flak for outspending the other candidates by a wide margin during the campaign. He spent more than $14,000 and received at least $6,000 in in-kind contributions." He's the wrong guy in an election most people really didn't take serious. Watch what happens in four years. Ford Green has a lot to fight against--I hope he still cares? |
