Illegals need to grab their spouse & spawn and run for the border. Don't stop there, though. Costa Rica is nice this time of year and you won't need to learn English. Maybe Costa Rica or Belize won't shoot you for invading them. Then again...

Okay, getting back to the topic, I think some information is missing from this article.

Here's what's clear:
The woman's father, who has a green card, filed a petition for his daughter. Due to the limited number of visas available she's had to wait.

Typically, the immigration courts will allow a person in the daughter's situation (petition filed, but no visa available yet) to wait it out here until a visa number is available.

Now for the kids:
Why were they NOT included on the petition filed for the daughter? Having filed this type of paperwork as an immigration attorney I know what form is used and I know that all children must be listed. In some cases, this means they simply get "added" to the case and so would also have been allowed to wait it out until a visa is available.

Were they included? If not why not? Then they could likely just wait it out until a visa was available.

Her OLDEST child is 18? She is 32? So she was 14 when she had her first child?
