yes that was the girl up Royalton..Karen Salyers..but they keep giving her last name Pitts..Does anybody know who she was married to ??

There are many colloquialisms in different areas of the country. I know this is an open forum, but did anyone ever think that Karen's family might see the smart-aleck comments? This isn't facebook.

Karen was my first cousin. Although we have not been in touch much for many years, it saddens me to think that she was abused and killed by a heartless man. It's not fodder for jokes.

"Just sayin'" that rudeness is never appreciated. Kindness goes a long way.

She was the daughter of Kenneth Salyer and Faye Burke Salyer. She had a difficult life the last several years and everyone should be mindful of the feelings of her family. It's never funny when someone passes away, especially in such a violent way.

Good question OMG. Though, no one deserves to die, let alone a death like this..if this is truly how she died. Everyone, it seems, wants to get on here and say they knew her or was kin to her...why did no one help her out of it?

i think people are pointing the finger at burley to soon he was not anywere near that place this past weekend because he lives about a quarter mile from me yes they fought a lot she was just as abuseive as he was the lived a dangerous live style my heart goes out to the family i have known kenneth all my life my prayers are with the family let the police do there job before u start pointing fingers

If you are such a good friend, why are you on here revealing how she died when that hasn't been revealed by the news media? I hope the person or people responsible for her death are brought to justice.
