Attended 1st. council meeting of the new year last night. Every seat was taken. People standing in hallway. Appointments where made without any kind of fanfare. Police Chief's report was short, he did mention the wrecked police car. Town manager's report he thanked everyone who was out all night in the bad weather including himself. Prove that.
Councilman Young seemed on edge, could it be that the underhanded taking back the youth football program might show everyone that he only wants to coach. Mayor Frye closed the meeting with a reading that Saltville had a black cloud over it
in regard to doing things behind the citizen's back. Thing normal as always.

I respectfully disagree. Yes, we do have a "black cloud" over our head. "We", the Town of Saltville, for the first time in 40 years now have control of the Incorporated Town of Saltville.

We are making progress! With out vision the people will perish.

I thought ''we'' the people ran it before. One meeting is progress? I'll wait a while to pass judgement.

If you went to a Saltville Town Council meeting, you must be really bored. Why didn't you just go down on the parking lot and watch the street lights come on. What a depressing life you must have.

Tell that to Mitt, "the Mitten", Romney. Here in Saltville, we love playing the game of politics. Just ask Slick Willy.

If it was any other locality they'd help them with the cost of the trip. No wonder the kids can't wait to leave when they graduate. But oh no they're too busy trying to one up each other.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Leo

This is a great day for fixing things that have gone wrong. If there have been ructions in your relationship with a certain person this is when you can sort things out and get them back on track. If an appliance or gadget is going on the blink, this is your cue to either get it mended or chuck it out and replace it. You may also find time to tidy up your immediate surroundings or take all those bottles and papers to your nearest recycling center. How virtuous you'll feel when it's all done!
