So much ugliness ... one has to wonder what the behavior or the language would be face-to-face. The so called privacy of the web has brought out such ugly bantor, it's very disconcerting. Most of the posts sound like they are from people who have not even had a sixth grade education. Why can't this post be what it was intended for - a discussion! Why all of the personal attacks? I agree bluetooth....I visit different topix sites for different towns in the area and I noticed that the smaller the town, the more crude the posts are. Saltsburg seems to be one of the worst. Why do you think this is?

I wish I knew, so that it could be stopped! Some of the posts are absolute untruths, and would be reason for litigation for libel. I know so many wonderful people who live and work in Saltsburg, and even though it is a small town without much going for it,- it is still 'home' to so many truly decent folks. I don't think most of those people use this post, and I guess they are too busy to know how their town is represented on this post. It's such a shame. I think the "world-wide web" has spawned a new breed of "low-lifes". It used to be that the smaller the town, the tighter the people were knit together; but alas, those days are gone forever. How sad that a woman who is merely trying to bring in some money for her family can be so maligned! Unbelievable ...

I agree bluetooth...that woman is one of the most selfless individuals in our area. She uses her skills and resources not only to make a living but to make life better for those around her - working for the food bank, library, fall festival, etc.

It is so discouraging to read such low life banter, but then again, if those individuals had anything going for them, they would be out there
making a difference themselves. Nothing but losers...
