I wouldn't bother calling your local (FLDS/LDS) useless police. I would call the State Attorney General's office and/or the local District Attorney's office and make sure they follow up with you.

The Centennial Park brand of polygamy with the mansions and mini mansions and although they may not divulge how many wives and children, you can tell by the wings and wings, multiple dining tables, that this is a big operation. The guys will say they have disdain for monogamy and monogamists, so they judge as well.

I think they are making a mess out of something simple. There's no reason to take children away or do anything to the women. The only guilty ones are the men, since they are the ones with multiple spouses. Prosecute the men only, leave the women and children alone, no need to get into a complicated mess

Soggy, there is no doubt in my mind that you are NOT part of the Washington polygs or any other large group here in utah...if you were, we would not be having this conversation. There is a very slim possiblilty that you come from a family who believes in this sort of thing, but I highly doubt that there is a family portrait in your home with you and your 25 brothers and sisters and all of your mothers and father.

And I've read both books (the bible, book of mormon) one is God breathed and the other is a fantastic fairy tale! You are soooooo not an ex-Mormon. What you have just said proves that. First, Mormons do teach that you obtain glory in heaven by following the example set forth by Christ. Mormons may believe Joseph Smith is a very righteous person, but the ultimate authority of the LDS church is Jesus Christ, as the church name suggest. "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" Second, the LDS people do no practice polygamy. If anyone practices polygamy, then they get excommunicated. It's as simple as that.
