I'm with Hal on this one. I'm just baffled myself.

I think these "confused children" needed help, education, and support not criminal charges! WTF? The legal system has nothing better to do? There are molesters that get away with horrible things here all the time (not enough evidence, nobody to witness abuse, she took a bath afterwards, those bruises could have come from something else...). These kids should have just been referred to CYFD to learn options because obviously their parents weren't real involved in their lives or they wouldn't be getting pregnant at 13!

well, obviously she is a little too grown up for her age and her recognizing the age group of 16 year olds having sex and not getting into trouble is a little too much information. I see where they are coming from too. I snuck out at age 13 and my parents were involved in my life and were there. Just because she got pregnant does not mean her parents were not in her life. America sexualizes too many things for kids from music, to the music videos, games, clothes, and so forth. It is no wonder why they pick it up so fast and easy with wanting to experiment.

Too much of our society is base on blame and less inclinde to find and solve the problems.
