Police Dept. low lifes

What is it with Sallisaw's Police Dept. why do they think they are god or shall I say gods gift? They should not toy with peoples lives.

I want to why they think they can go out and party and then bust people for doing the same thing or how about the swinger? I mean who does that these days that was back in the 70's. Unless they are an old fart that wants to relive the past. Like I said "70's". Just how many of you can honestly say you have not tried it or have not screwed someone other than your spouse. I didn't think so that is the Sallisaw Police Dept. for you.

since when is it against the law to walk down a road its one thing to follow/tailgate someone in a car just to be an ass but to follow someone that is walking then stop in the street to see where they are walking to and them back up and back on to the road you were on to begin with is bull that is against the law to begin with and to drive so slow to stay behind someone walking is nuts i seen this happen to someone if it was me i would have stoped him and asked him what his problem was the cops we have now were low life problems as kids now they get paid to do it this harrsemnt needs to stop

I agree with Learn to Type on Sick of It's post. That was hard to read.

Well for me if the cops are stopping and talking to people walking after say 10:00 PM or so, it is a good thing. We have had some much vandalism, theft and just plain nonsense going on we need to know who is out and about after dark. I am not saying that all folks out after ten are criminals but hey they got to get out sometime. If I was stopped walking I would not have a problem with it I know I am not doing wrong and I am glad these guys are out doing a job I don’t want. Someone said they would not do it because they would take a pay cut; these guys do it knowing they make nothing. Seems when we have doubts or fears we call the police when it does not go our way we cuss them. Sad thing to say but most of us could not nor want to handle the battery of test and the hours of boring training and the low wages to do their job, but we will cuss and point fingers at them if they God forbid make a mistake or use an off colored word. Jack Nicholson had a quote in the movie A Few Good Men I think it fits this situation it went like this:“You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use then as the backbone of a life trying to defend something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest that you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to” seems right to say if you don’t think they are doing a good enough job, take the pay cut, do the training and stand a watch, not many will and I am thankful for the ones that do. Oh please you don’t think adultery doesn’t run rampant in this town, what rock are you hiding under. I have four friends whom had to live through this nightmare in the past few years. Sleeping with another man’s wife or husband get real. At least they didn’t learn about it with the spouse getting arrested. Turn on your brain or shut your mouth I so hope your husband or wife never cheats on you or has and you just don’t know it. Just my two cents worth, God bless and keep you safe.
