How is it that with millions of dollars seized and over 2 tons of cocaine not to mention, meth, and marijuana found in this alleged drug ring that these people were released the next day on &20,000? This is the largest drug bust in Eastern Ok to date and there has been no more mention of it on
the news. The local sheriff is related to 3 of the suspected criminals and
still no national news coverage. This has been going on for decades it's time to clean that town up.

There is one County in south Florida that the Former Sheriff Was Convicted of Cocaine Smuggling! He was paid by some of the biggest Smugglers to let them bring the dope in by the planeload. That County today still is dealing with the dirty bastards and their relatives that were not busted then.

There will always be nepotism and corruption in law enforcement just as there will be in all walks of life. That has all been allowed just like I said when I tried to start another forum. A man was killed at a kingston motel in January. The public and family were told he was shot ONCE and it was "because the officer was trying to stop the man from hitting him with a truck". This was supposedly thru a truck door. When I met the family at a local business few months ago they told me he was shot FOUR times on upper left thigh from behind with powder burns on his skin and TWICE from the front too. Magic bullets I guess huh?? I don't know why they have not pursued this but I can tell you that ever since I saw their faces and heard their story it has haunted me. This is my home and that scares the hell out of me. Please God don't let it be one of my children someday. Welcome to the world of coverups.

Hmm, well I do know the sheriff of Stidham is corrupt. Sometimes it pays to know the right people in some of these small Oklahoma towns.

I can't understand why the Feds think someone will voluntarily blab some information on these people. Looks to me like they have enough evidence to put them away in a federal prison.
I would like to know what happens to the money that is seized in these drug raids, cause you never hear where all that money goes and the cars and tractors, where does that stuff go?
The corruption outside law enforcement isn't any worse than the corruption inside law enforcement.

yes, it is funny, sounds just like the "Largest Drug Bust in Hughes County" on March 16, 2006. The local newspaper ran these people picture on the front page, and I believe all most all of them got their charges dropped, but sadly their faces were already published. They found 3 grams. way to step your game up, Houston

Actually three of them have gone to jail, and some of them just ratted their way out of it. You are right, the had their pics plastered on the newspaper and the court house execs expected them to go get jobs in this county and pay their fines and court costs--LOL
But, only a small paragraph when the jailer tazed one of the female inmates four times. Of course, he was innocent of wrongdoing. LOL

This story received TV news coverage for days when the compound was first busted.

It's tough to be the sheriff right now. He can't choose his family members, just like the rest of us. I hope authorities come out and say flat out that he isn't involved, but you never know with Sequoyah County.

I WATCHED DRUG DEALS GO DAILY IN DIST 89 IN OKC, OFFICIALS , NEXT DOOR TO ME AND UP AND DOWN THE STREET AND DIST 89 DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT, CONTRACTORS DOESNT HAVE TO HAVE LICENSE OR HAVE TO GET THINGS INSPECTED . DRUNKS CAN DO ANYTHING THEY WANT, NOTHING DONE, AND ILLEGAL TITLES ON CARS, ILLEGAL TITLE 42. ILLEGAL NOTARYS. AND CRIME IS OUT OF CONTROL HERE. ITS EASY TO SEE. BUSINESS INVOLVED, ARSONS NOT INVESTIGATED. OUTLAW STATE. CONCERNED CITIZENS.

I lived in Sallisaw for 3 1/2 yrs and you have elected a different sheriff since I lived there. Guess what it is still the same after 10 years. I now live in Las Vegas Nv. and don't see the crime and dealings that go on there. Our FBI is supposed to be so great, so why can't they bust the officials that do and know what is going on there? I have grand children that go to school there is this a good example for them?

Yeah, I have often wondered how to get a GRand Jury investigation on the local officials (sheriff dept. court house, county comm., drug task force, etc) I guess it can't be done unless one of them calls for it.

I don't know if you can blame that on Houston, really. The drug task force did that because they were about to get cut off their funding. There was an article in the paper around the time of that bust....and Woody didn't even get drug charges in federal court, and the wiretapping got laughed out of the court house. But, there was a lot of talk about what was never claimed as a seizure and forfeiture.

Even better, the night after the "biggest bust in Hughes County". One cop in Wewoka stopped one car with one guy in it and got abot 100,000 dollars worth of cocaine. Who needs that task force...lol

Now, I better shut up.

Please be careful, you have to watch your step at the court house, you may just "trip" down the stairs the same way that violent, combative, frail diebetic, 70 year old man did last year, didn't he die? Once again protecting and serving, way to go boys!!!! Where was the supervision over the kids when they were whipping up on "grandpa". I wish the "big men would go down"-down the stairs following gramps. Im done

well how are things going in your town, has any sheriff or those you talk about had anything done to them, lets talk about city inspectors, do illegal inspection go on in your town. if so please make comments. do you have illegal notarys too, do you think thats bad for homeland security our country when our officials , some, not all , are corrupt. lets say looking the other way, for some people. what should they do to police or sheriff who dont pertect their citizens, say ones with vpo, and they jump you, and then get promoted.
