After contacting (Johnny Tarzan's) relative in 1999, The following information was emailed to me...In fact his name is also Johnny Weissmuller and his email address is still <johnnyw@codap.com>. He states that Johnny's brother, Peter John Weissmuller was born in Windber, Pa. and without his brother Peter's Birth Certificate, Johnny could not of gotten his passport in time to attend the 1924 Olympics, that launched his career. Johnny "tarzan" Weissmuller's real birth place was "Romania"..
